Can I Use the Base Plates from a 2000 Honda CR-V on a 2006 or 2007 Model with the StowMaster Tow Bar
Question:
I have a 2000 honda crv looking to get a newer one 2006 2007 can I use the old car mount ? If not can I just get a new car bracket and use the stowmaster hitch I already have which is adjustable?

Each of those model years will need a different base plate kit. If you purchase a 2006 Honda CR-V you will need base plate # 1555-5. If you purchase a 2007 you will need part # RM-521559-4. Both are brackets that will work with the Roadmaster StowMaster tow bar, part # RM-501.
In short, you will need to replace the base plate kit with the appropriate kit, but you can continue using your StowMaster tow bar.
