Question:
Wear do I find and splice in the 4 additional wires on my 2006 E250 Van? Is there a quick adapter for this?

The additional wires are for installing a brake controller. The blue wire would be for the brakes, the black wire would be for the hot lead, and the purple wire would be for the reverse lights and connects to the circuit behind one of the vehicles taillights. The white wire is the ground and should be connected properly to the frame of the vehicle.
If you have a factory 4-Way, use wiring harness, # 37185, then run jacketed wire # 10-2-1, from the black wire on the 37185, to the battery. Run the other wire, included with 10-2-1, from the blue wire on the harness to the brake controller (if you have a brake controller). If you do not have a brake controller, run wire # 10-1-1 from the black wire on the harness to the battery. With either configuration, you will need to connect to the battery via a 40 amp breaker.
If you do not have a factory 4-Way, you will have to add Brake Controller 7 and 4 Way Installation Kit - 10 Gauge, # ETBC7. I have included a video showing installation using an ETBC7 kit as well as an FAQ on brake controller installation from scratch.
