How to Pick Out a Spare Tire and Rim for a Tarter TUTW58 5x8 Trailer
Question:
I have a Tarter TUTW58 5x8 trailer. I am looking for a spare tire to have incase one of my current tires goes flat while on the road. The tire reads 4.80-12. I was looking on your website and there are some where the description read on 4 on 4 bolt pattern and another that reads 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern. Which tire and rim am I needing?? Any help would be great. Im not sure what other information you would need to be more helpful. Thank you very much

First thing you need to do is determine what bolt pattern the wheels are on your trailer. The bolt pattern is the amount of bolts used to install the wheel to your trailer and the distance they are apart.
Check out the FAQ article I attached on determining bolt patterns for more info. Most likely, on a trailer as small as yours you have a 4 on 4 inch bolt pattern and would want the # AM30620, but in case you have a 5 on 4 inch bolt pattern you would want the # AM30660 instead.
