Ski/Snowboard Carrier and Roof Capacity for 2014 Ford Flex

Question:

will the TH575 fit on a 2014 ford flex and what is the load capacity for these cross bars. how do these bars attach to stock ford rails?

The Thule # TH7326 Snowboard Carrier does not include the crossbars. For crossbars for your 2014 Ford Flex, I'd recommend the Thule Evo Raised Rail Roof Rack, which consists of part # TH710401 and # TH712400 . These crossbars are compatible with the ski rack, and would attach to your existing roof racks using the Thule Speed-Link system. The Speed-Link is a sturdy rubber covered metal band that tightens on your roof rails using the hex key integrated into the roof rack. If you watch the video I've linked, you can see exactly how the crossbars would attach to the roof rails.

The crossbars system itself has a 165 lb weight capacity, however that might be reduced if the capacity of your roof rails is less. Your owner's manual or Ford dealer should be able to tell you the roof capacity. I've linked you to some help articles about roof racks and ski/snowboard carriers.
