If you're looking for the best tie-downs for your camper, frame-mounted is the way to go. The frame is the most solid part of your entire vehicle, so it just makes sense to attach your camper to something that's not going to warp, bend, or twist. Even more importantly, the camper's center of gravity will sit lower and its weight will be spread across the entire bed. This avoids a top-heavy load perched on top of your bed rails that's liable to sway and get pushed around by crosswinds. The camper's not going to shift or slide around while you drive; it's going to stay put, and your truck is going to handle just like it does without a camper.
Quick Tip: If you have a plastic or spray-in bed liner, it's important that you use a rubber mat under the camper to eliminate any sliding or bouncing.
Frame-mounted tie-downs are also a great pick for preserving your truck's good looks. The brackets install on the frame, tucked nearly flush with the underside of the vehicle. Remove the arms from the brackets when you're not hauling your camper, and the brackets will be barely visible.
Completely custom to your vehicle, the tie-downs attach to exisiting holes in your frame so that there's little to no drilling and no need for any modifications. Because they're custom, you'll want to use our in-house application guide to make sure you get the exact right model. The tie-downs you need might be different depending on what type of hitch or other accessories you have.
Once the tie-downs are installed, use a set of turnbuckles (sold separately) to secure the camper to the tie-downs. The shank on each arm has 2 pin holes so you can choose how far out they extend, that way the turnbuckles can reach the anchors on your camper without making contact with your truck. Tighten the turnbuckles to the correct level of tension (not too tight!).
Make sure the anchor points are offset from the tie-downs instead of lined up with them so that they will hold your camper from multiple angles. This is important for keeping your camper from shifting. Two holes in the attachment plate of the tie-downs let you find the best angle for you camper anchors.

The order arrived earlier than expected and was complete. An excellent job of engineering; all the components worked perfectly with my 2018 Dodge Ram 3500 dually. There was some minor filing that had to be done on 2 of the bracket holes to allow the bolts to fit through; I suspect it was just the powder coating. However no modifications to the truck were required.
The entire project took about 2 hours from start to finish.
Love the TorkLift Tie-Downs! They are rugged and make loading and unloading much easier than my old basic Tie-Downs.
Bolted right on with no issues. Fit right the first time. Seem to be well over built. Etrailer shipped them off without delays and I have not one complaint.

The front and rear slide mounts are exactly the same, the instructions say the front mount are offset. if they are supposed to be different send me the proper front slide-ins. Thank you
camper is on my truck. drove through some big wind in the owens valley with no problems. had the other tie downs and this is the best!

Great product with a "No Drill" application. Has been providing great service for holding my Palomino Backpack truck camper in my 2018 Ram 2500. I bought these and the rear set at the same time along with the Torklift fast gun tie downs. All outstanding products.
So far so good. Just waiting on the 2nd half of the order.
Awesome Quality... Heavy Stout Brackets... Shipping was good too...Installation is easy per say.. Fishing bolt through Bracket is a nervous part... Taking the fish wire off and putting on the flat washer ,lock washer and nut without the bolt falling inside frame rail is tricky. I use some needle nose vise grips to help me out. If the bolt was longer would have helped. Done it myself no problem. Would be easier with two people. I would recommend these brackets. Thank you Torklift for a great product. Would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the fishing part of install
I can confirm that the tie-downs do fit 2018 Dodge Ram dually with factory installed hitch and side steps. Also, the Ram has factory installed airbags with air compressor. I did need to file and or drill out a couple of the bracket holes for proper bolt size. The fit and finish is very good.
These are difficult to review. They seem very well made but I have a few issues.
1 - The installation instructions say to hold the bracket in place while putting a nut onto a bolt which must be held in place so as not to fall back into the frame. This takes three hands. Holding the bracket in place with a C-clamp solves the problem but this is not suggested in the instructions.
2. - The brackets hang down under the truck rather a long way. It looks like they could be raised nearly six inches without anything contacting the body.
3. - The turnbuckle tie down holes are slotted in a way that makes them look weak. I don't know that this is a problem but the design worries me.

I installed this on my 2017 Ram 2500 HD with step under the cab. This is a very high quality product with heavy duty construction. They provide a secure attachment for tiedowns to the truck camper. The instructions provided are adequate, but not great. It takes a few minutes to figure out which tie down goes on the driver's vs passenger's side. A simple label on the parts page would be nice. The trouble I had with my installation was that the 2" bolt which is placed inside the frame via a fishwire was not held in place by the plate and star washer, so it could not be tightened and torqued without grabbing the threaded end of the bolt with a pair of vise grips. The front and rear tie downs together are heavier than I thought they would be. If your truck and camper is in danger of being over gross weight, these won't help, and you might consider the lighter aluminum tie downs.
We just installed these today. Heavy duty brackets and will be great for our slide in camper.

The tie downs worked well for our slide-in camper. The front tie downs were just long enough, the rear had length to spare.
Ram 2500 crew cab w running boards. First of I love the product! Unfortunately I had the one and a hundred that slipped through quality control. I received the correct parts, but the wrong manual (Fronts). That drastically increased the confusion. I was able to find installation videos [online] which saved my install. (Rear) the trail ties that slide into the frame assembly had the holes drilled on the wrong side of the bend toward the front. Rears were easy.... fronts were challenging especially trying to get the frame bolt started. Drive side has several e.brake and a brake line you have to work the bracket past. Recommendation release e brake To give you a little slack. I did not have to remove any parts others then those involved with the install.
As always shipped fast and at a reasonable price. My only comment would be why etrailer does not use distribution local to the recipient. The tie downs are made within miles of where I live, and distributed by wholesalers here locally. However this order was shipped to me all the way across country. Other automotive on-line retailers use local distribution points. I order from etrailer due to past customer service, which has been outstanding. It by far offsets a few days of shipping time.

Extremely easy to install fantastic product took me an hour and 25 minutes to install them things to watch for driver side rear front under the cab make sure you don’t allow the Springville to drop in because there’s a welder peace and the frame there can get stuck one and to be aware there are two brake cable she have to work underneath on that same out the other three are all duck soup
Besides being a very good anchoring system for a slidein truck camper, I received my order in 2 days thanks to there helpful staff that got me exactly what I needed.
