Today we're gonna take a look at the K-Source driver's side replacement electric side view mirror with the heat and turn signal functions and the spotter mirror right up here. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2016 to 2018 Toyota RAV4 vehicles. And on a custom fit part like this, I do recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle and it'll show if this'll work for your application. Now, this is a side view mirror.
It's a direct replacement for the driver's side factory mirror that's on your vehicle. You can see it is modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit. It does offer the power remote capability, which means you can adjust your mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle. Does offer the heated mirror glass, which will clear frost and ice, reduce fogging. Right over here, if you notice, does have this amber light on the side of the mirror that will light up and flash when your turn signal is activated.
And as we mentioned, if you look up front here, up in this corner, you have this built-in spotter mirror that'll help minimize any blind spots. Now they do use an OE grade flat glass with first-surface plating, which'll reflect clear images. Front of the glass is plated with reflective chrome, and it is a flat lens, so it does reflect true representation of the object size in the mirror. It is a breakaway design, so the mirror will fold when it's struck to prevent breakage of the mirror. It is a nice durable plastic housing.
You can see it has a nice black finish to it, and it can be painted to match your vehicle if need be. It is an easy, no drill, installation has the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror. The mirror will plug into your existing electrical wire. Does come with the hardware to install it. Now, this does replace the original equipment part number of 879400R220C0.
It is for a quantity of one driver's side mirror. Now, one note I do wanna mention to you on this mirror is the power remote capability, the heated glass, and the turn signal of this mirror will work only if your vehicle already has those functions. You mentioned that it was distorted and that it was unable to be installed. I wanted to ask you a few questions. Would it be possible to send a picture? Would you be able to confirm that your vehicle is a 2018 Toyota Rav 4 made in the US?
