Jeff Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Derale Premium In-Line Fan Control Thermostat with the -6 AN fittings. Now, this is an in-line thermostat, it's designed a thermostatically control your electric fan on a remote mounted transmission or engine oil cooler. This is designed to read fluid temperatures to determine whether additional cooling is needed and to switch the electric fan on or off accordingly. The thermostat is preset to activate your fan at 190 degrees to ensure sufficient air flow to the cooler, and will automatically turn the fan off at 175 degrees to save power. You can see it has a nice black anodized finish down here on the aluminum construction, and it features a nice swivel housing that allows for nice clean professional installation and allows precise positioning of your thermostat.
The dual ports, one on each end, to allow installation of the thermostat while maintaining access to the inlet. Specs on this, the aluminum housing portion, the black portion here, the thread size on it again, on this end is the -6 AN male port, and on this end is the -6 AN female port. This does have a maximum capacity of 15 amps. But that should do it for the review on the Derale Premium In-Line Fan Control Thermostat with the -6 AN fittings..
