CIPA UTV Adjustable Side Mirror - Black - Left Hand

The mirrors are as advertised and fit my ATV perfectly. They are a very good quality and overall, I’m happy with them. My only negative feedback is that they push in too easy. I know it’s designed to do that in case you hit some heavy brush or tree limbs on the trail. But my ATV is also driven on the streets here in Arizona and the wind at 55 mph pushes the mirrors in. I wish there was a way to tighten this. Otherwise a very good product and it was delivered a day earlier than expected. They are installed and look great.1522136

Glad to find a mirror that would fit large tubing on a Kubota RTV, but it was still a stretch to get the bracket to fit. Wish the mirror was more rigid since it has substantial vibration.1041719

These mirrors really werent the best option. The vibration was a nuisance, and they would have to be adjusted every time the UTV was trailered or when driving through light branches. All of the products that I have received from etrailer to date have been great and the service and communications are exemplary. Previous purchases include a whole list of trailer hitches, brake controllers, wiring devices etc. Not so with this mirror.

I knew that I was in trouble when the warning on the bag said to not tighten the nut on the stem to more than 7 inch/pounds. Not foot/pounds mind you, INCH/pounds. I don't have a torque wrench that goes that low and doubt that you can find one outside of a research lab.

The reason was apparent enough. The soft plastic stem is inadequate for the service intended and causes the mirror to vibrate excessively when mounted to the UTV and the engine is running.

Will I order from etrailer again? YOU BET I WILL, but it won't be for another one of these mirrors.153257

When I first installed the mirror, I thought it was just right for my John Deere tractor. However, after a month or so the vibration of the tractor caused the mirror to loosen and I had to re-tighten several times because it kept on happening. After a while with re-tightening constantly, the mounting bolt on the mirror stripped. I thought the mirror would have held up better than it did. The mirror is useless now. :-

Mounts are cheap plastic and can't secure them tightly for fear of breakage, so they're hard to keep focused on what's behind you. For a rear view mirror, they're too small which could be a safety issue. Will be looking for something better. A waste of money in my opinion.858346

Without the utv mount, all I had to do is drill a hole on the loader arms and attach this mirror. Works great, exactly what I wanted. Although I have a compact tractor, the mirror is big enough to work on larger sized tractor as well. Great price, quality and delivery!214030

this is just what i wanted. the band that holds it to the bar needs to be about half an inch bigger because i couldnt use the rubber pads, it just wasnt big enough but i managed.. works wonderful, love them,.......57988

Mirror is overall a good product. Be careful tightening, the bolt will twist off. It is a fine balance between keeping the mirror tight enough to keep from moving and twisting it off. Once on, they work well. 41837
