Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this CIPA Competition rear view boat mirror. This competition boat mirror is gonna give you a full view of the skiers or tubers in tow behind you for safe navigation on the water. The convex mirror face is constructed of safety glass, so it provides these wide angle views. It's gonna help reduce blind spots.
And the viewing surface area exceeds Alabama's 78 square inch law. While we're looking at the mirror face, let me give you some measurements of it. Overall, we are sitting right at 14 inches long. Pull that out just a little bit more there, again, 14 inches long. And then looking at the width, we are sitting pretty close to seven inches wide.
Now, the adjustable design is going to let you position the mirror as needed for optimal visibility. So, this is pretty tight here so I feel like that's going to hold pretty well. It's not going to, it doesn't seem like it's gonna easily drop or anything like that. That's why I've got the mirror face down, so I have some leverage here to move this mount around. And then this will move as well so it's quite adjustable to give you just the right angle that you need.
This is made in the USA of impact resistant ABS plastic housing with this black finish so it is durable and rust resistant. And this is gonna be a quick and easy installation that's gonna clamp onto your boat's windshield frames with rounded edges. And it's going to fit from 3/8 of an inch to one-inch wide round windshield frames. And the height above your windshield's gonna be about three inches. And this includes everything that you see here.
It includes this adjustable, rustproof aluminum bracket with this textured black powder coat finish. So, it's going to look pretty sharp on your windshield. And it does feel very durable, so I don't think you're gonna have to worry about it easily breaking. It doesn't feel fragile or anything like that. Again, just showing you the adjustability here a little bit. Instructions are included to answer any other questions that you might have and, again, show you the best options to mount this. Nice mirror but it constantly angles fully down because the support material will not hold it in place.
big and just enough curve to give s good view without things being too small. I put on my tow vehicle for a long horse trailer.
Have been looking for a rear view mirror for my 2018 New Holland Farm Tractor for weeks I have purchased 2 mirrors from two different suppliers and neither would mount properly on the roof of my tractor! Really happy with this huge mirror. Easy to install, stays put and adjusts where you need it. I can see everything, even when pulling 4 skiers I can keep track of them. Folds down below the windshield frame when trailering as well.
Very rugged mounting and adjustment that looks like this mirror will stay in adjustment on our 1976 Carlson when needed for safer towing skiers,tubing and kneeboarding on our small sometimes congested lake.
The shipment also got to us instead of being dumped by our mailbox on a very busy hyway.
This was exactly the mirror that I've been searching for. The materials used for the mounting hardware are metal, not flimsy plastic. Mounting to my Sea Ray winshield was very easy. I could see my skiers and their hand signals for the first time. There was no vibration and once mounted, it stayed in place. If you are looking for a great mirror for your boat, this is the one to get. You won't be disappointed.

Mirror was great for about 10 uses and then after that the knob has stripped out and I can no longer securely attach this to my window. If you don't plan on removing this mirror after each use then this will be a great mirror.

I thought the mirror is very nice, came the day after I ordered it. It was a Christmas gift hopefully will fit well on the boat-- he thought it might be to big. I told him too it is a big boat. we will see in the summer
