Today we'll be taking a look at the Camco garden hose 45-degree shut-off valve in brass, Part #CAM20173. We're here at our hose connection. Go ahead and take our 45-degree angle shut-off valve that we have here, as you can see in there. This way's probably better. It's got a stainless steel valve in there. It is at a 45-degree angle which helps reduce stress on your hose when it's hooked up. Comes with a rubber washer to make sure that we don't get any leaks here at the faucet.

We'll go ahead and thread this on. Got it threaded on, we'll go ahead and take our garden hose. Everything connected, simply turn our water on. Now if you want to adjust the flow of your water, with our water on, you simply turn this valve here. You can completely stop the flow of water by doing a simple quarter turn.

Turn the water back on, turn it clockwise about a quarter turn and it opens it fully. You can adjust the flow and pressure to multiple different levels by simply moving the valve just a little bit. See, it takes the strain off of our hose; wide open and completely closed. The 45-degree shut-off valve is made of a solid brass housing and an easy grip valve handle and hose connection. Because the valve is made out of solid brass as well as having stainless steel internal parts, it is very resistant to corrosion.
