Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the High Pointe 1.9 CU FT OTR RV Microwave. It has a 1,000 watt output and a stainless steel color. Now this microwave oven will install over your range. It allows you to cook and reheat food in your RV.

And as we mentioned, the output power on this is 1,000 watts. Now the brand on this, on the very bottom, you'll see it's a High Pointe brand. And that brand is installed as OE on many of the newer RVs. This is a durable construction. It is vibration and corrosion resistant.

The electronics on the inside are designed to withstand over the road travel vibrations. Now I did want to show you, if we zoom in, the LED display here. And I do wanna plug it in to show you a few features it has. But basically, as you can see it flashing, it'll have the LED display that'll show the clock, the timer, and other activated functions. The whole panel is a touch control panel.

It has a control lock to prevent accidental use. And the microwave will offer you four auto-cook settings and 10 power levels to heat the food. On the bottom side of this, they have a two-speed exhaust fan, which will remove unwanted smoke, steam, and odors from your kitchen. And they do offer, these removable ventilation filters are included. That'll go on there underneath.

Now I did wanna demonstrate the exhaust fan, so you can hear it. But basically, if you'll notice, there's a fan pictured right there. And it gives you three positions, high, low, and off. So, if I hit it first, there's your high setting. Hit it another time, it drops down to low. And one more time, it's off. Next to that, it has a turntable on and off that you can turn the turntable on or off. And right over here is a light. There's also lights underneath here. The two surface lights underneath here will provide illumination onto your counter below when it's installed. And as we mentioned, those two removable filters will catch the grease when you're cooking on your range. Just to show you what we're talking about, pop up an insert. There's a picture of it from underneath with the lights on. So, there you can see the two lights that light up. And then, right behind them are the filters we're talking about. Now, I am gonna open this, so we can see. (door opening) If we open this all the way, you can see the interior capacity is 1.9 cubic feet. It has a nice glass turntable that's 13.5 inches in diameter. It microwaves your food evenly. Also, what's nice, if you notice, it comes with the nice metal rack that snaps in there, so you can take it out, if you have bigger items, put it in, if you wanna do a couple more items. But a question I always get from our neighbors are, that a metal rack in a microwave, they wonder about that. Well, you can use a metal rack in a microwave as long as it's used properly. In other words, the metal doesn't touch metal. And if you notice, when you put this rack in there, it'll actually attach to plastic feet. So, you see it's not touching metal to metal, so using the rack in there will be no problem. We'll go ahead and turn that. And I'm gonna go ahead and unplug it. Now, this is a very easy installation. It comes with the included instruction manual, installation, and even the template on how to install it. It helps you install it. And the hardware's even included. The color on this is a nice, stainless steel color. Now, a few specs on this as far as the dimensions. Overall dimensions, width is 29 and 15/16 of an inch wide, height 15 and 11/16 inches tall, and the total depth for this unit, 15 inches deep. On the inside, the dimensions in there, width-wise, it's gonna be 19 and 3/4 inches, height-wise, nine inches tall, and depth wise, 13 and 3/4 inches deep. And again, we mentioned the output power of 1,000 watts, voltage, 120 volts, 60 hertz. The weight on this part, about 57.3 pounds.
