Bestop Upper Door Sliders are a factory-original lower steel door application featuring a pair of two-way sliding glass windows that make all those trips to the drive-through easier. The windows slide forward or backward on their tracks, clicking shut with one hand and securing with toggle latches.
The windows are constructed of thermally insulated, DOT-approved, tempered glass. Panes reduce road noise and also increase ventilation to the cab when opened.
The windows are mounted on a rugged steel frame, surrounded by fabric and edged by double-bulb weather stripping that surrounds the channels to keep out ice, snow, dirt and debris. The weather stripping also provides a tight seal with the vehicle soft top, further insulating the interior from the elements.
Upper Door Sliders attach easily to lower steel doors with door pins and adjustable collars, ensuring a snug fit to the factory door.
Kit includes passenger- and driver-side Upper Door Sliders. Fabric is designed to match Bestop soft tops and factory-original top colors.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at these Bestop Upper Door Sliders. Now, these sliders have been designed to fit your 1988 to 1995 Jeep Wrangler and YJ, and these are also gonna be compatible with the factory soft top and the Bestop Replace-A-Top identified by those model numbers that you see there on your screen. And on custom-fit parts such as these sliders, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide. Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if these will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now let's take an overhead view here just so you can hopefully get a better view of these sliders.
These upper door sliders are gonna be perfect additions to your Jeep's factory lower steel doors, forming a complete door for you. These will attach easily to the lower steel doors with these door pins that you see here. They're gonna give you a snug fit to the factory door. And on your screen, I am including a photo of this gentleman installing something similar to his Jeep door, just to kind of give you an idea of how easily these are going to install into your door. Now, taking a look overhead once again, I'm gonna flip this one over just to show you the inside.
And I've kind of had to overlap these sliders just a little bit just so they can completely fit on my tabletop here. But as you can see, we do have these windows, they're gonna easily slide open. There's a little latch here that's going to allow you to push this open. The opening range is from about 10 to 11 inches, so it's gonna be very easy, for instance, to go through a drive-through or something like that. You're not gonna have to open your door.
You're gonna be able to just easily open, slide the glass open, and then you can just turn this latch here that you probably can't see too well from that angle, and that's going to secure it shut. So, very easy to open, very easy to close. They slide along the track here, and very smooth, doesn't feel like it's gonna get bound up easily at all. And once you turn that latch, then it'll stay locked. These windows are constructed of thermally insulated DOT-approved tempered glass, and these panes are gonna reduce the noise and also increase ventilation to your Jeep cab when it's open.
And the windows are mounted on a rugged steel frame, so, very secure. You see, you have a better view of these door pins, hopefully. Let me go for a closeup on this particular slider here and just so you can get a better view. So they feel very rugged, feels very durable, and no flex to these sliders at all. They're gonna hold up really well when you have them installed on your door. Just going back for another overhead view. Now the windows are, as I mentioned, mounted on a rugged steel frame, and then they're surrounded by this black denim fabric and the edge by a double-bulb weather stripping. Let me see if I can show that to you again. So you see that seal that goes all around the sides and the top here. So it's gonna keep out ice and snow and dirt and debris. And that weather stripping's gonna really give you a tight seal when you have this door or the door closed with this slider attached. Let me give you another closeup view there. Maybe you can see that seal just a little bit better. There we go. So that's not something you're gonna have to worry about installing. It's already gonna be installed on the slider. And the fabric is actually designed to match Bestop's soft tops and factory-original top colors. So you're just gonna, when you receive these, pull them out of the box and install them. It's gonna be very easy, very quick install. Instructions are gonna be included to guide you through that installation process. And again, these are gonna work for your '88 to '95, 1988 to 1995 Jeep Wrangler and YJ. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that our time together was helpful for you. Jeep
I bought these to replace the zippered vinyl windows that came with the jeep. They are a direct replacement. They fit tight and I had to work to get them in, but once installed, they sealed tightly and greatly reduced wind noise when driving on the highway.

Fast shipping, about 10 percent cheaper than competitors I would recommend these for cooler months, these do cut down the airflow significantly but are still great additions.

Received product within 3 days of order. Sliders fit perfectly in each door. Had plastic windows which even when replaced I had difficulty seeing out of especially at night. With glass sliders visibility has greatly improved. They also look great on the Jeep!

These were ok for a while, now after a year the seals have not held up very well. My seatbelt had tapped one of the Windows and it now has a slight crack, I do not feel these were made with the best quality for the price.

They don't fit the top well. One has extra seal material in front and a lack of material in the back and the other is the opposite a gap in front and extra out the back.

Ever since I purchased my second (third?) hand 1992 Jeep I have cursed the zip-up vinyl windows. I have cursed the guy who initially purchased the rig. I have cursed the Jeep dealership that sold it with the zip-up windows. I finally had enough and searched for replacements. By a few dollars etrailer.com offered the best price and they offered free shipping. The replacements arrived within 3 days of the order.
I'm not a READ THE DIRECTIONS kind of guy and I got a little frustrated removing the old units. So I pulled out the directions. Oh...I have to unfold the bottom lip and pull it away from the seam. The old ones popped right out and the new ones dropped right in. Even an idiot like me could do it.
I am no longer cursing the Jeep every time I drive it. I just wish that these units were factory standard 20 years ago.

perfect fit on my jeep wrangler. had zipper windows and these will be great for winter months. The price was lower than anything else I found. These are FANTASTIC!!! Shipping was so fast, they went on with no issue what so ever. One of the clasps had popped off in transit but I popped it back in no problem. The upper door is great quality. The driver side posts had a bit of rough over spray but a little sand paper smooth them right out.
