To improve your vehicle's ability to endure heavy loads, you need to add support to your existing coil springs.
Air Lift's AirLift 1000HD adjustable air springs have 2,100 pounds of load-leveling capacity and are made specifically to fit inside your rear coil spring suspension for additional load assistance. You can inflate and deflate these tough, molded polyurethane helper springs as needed, ensuring the perfect amount of support for every load, every time. Easily level your vehicle front to rear, and if you run dual air lines to the air springs at installation, then you can inflate the springs independently of one another for side-to-side leveling. AirLift 1000HD is a breeze to install with standard tools and comes with an easy-to-follow instruction manual.
AirLift 1000HD comes with manual inflation valves that are typically mounted on the bumper but can be installed anywhere on your vehicle for easy access. For even more convenience and control, you can add a compressor and gauge system (sold separately), which will let you monitor and automatically inflate your air springs.
Air Lift kits are designed to keep your vehicle at normal ride height. You can find the normal ride height of your vehicle by unloading it and measuring the distance between the bottom edge of your wheel well and the center of the hub. After you find and record this distance, you can regulate the amount of air that you put into your air springs to maintain normal ride height - even when you are hauling a heavy load. You will need to adjust the air pressure in your air bags according to the size of your load.

Improves handling, braking, and overall ride.I could NOT get the springs folded like a hot dog bun to install per the installation instructions. I had to physically remove the coil springs from my truck and work the air springs in from the top. Otherwise, the installation went per the instructions. Waiting now for my first road trip with the RV.
this was the simplest answer and have had no issues with this air bag set up installed with lowering kit.one year ago needed support for towing my boat 5000 lbs.
Recently installed, one test drive unloaded, one with my travel trailer. I am pleased so far. E-Trailer was awesome though purchase, shipping and customer service. I would like to see better quality clamps for the air lines and longer and heavier zip ties.
Could not install air bags without taking coil springs out. They didn't go in very easy then. Now trying to find air leak. Should have a better system than just pushing an airline on a fitting and using a cheap sporting clamp. Was not able to find leak with soapy water. Hopefully I can find it and enjoy using them
2019 RAM 1500 Classic. Had no problem getting the bags in the springs. If you have the tools just take the extra time to lift the frame as high as you can on jack stands. Support the rear end with the jack. Remove the tires, and fender wells. Unbolt the shocks, rear sway bar and brake line. Lower the jacks till the springs come out. Spray the bags with soapy water, and slide them in. Haven’t pulled my camper yet, but have loaded the back up and didn’t get any sag at 20psi. Happy so far. Not so bouncy.
Easy install but don't read the directions. They're not right. Had to go to the manufacturer website and watch the tutorial.
Great Product. Installed on my Ram 1500 and really helped my ride when towing. Smooth and firm ride towing and not towing. Installation was smooth. If not sure how to install go to U-tube to find installation instructions and pictures. Highly recommend. Love E-Trailer Products
I've been driving my truck for a couple of weeks now after installing the Air Lift and immediately noticed the difference in the drive. I haul heavy loads in my trailer, including my bobcat. I'll definitely be ordering another pair for my other truck.

It is working very well
Works well BUT... you need to remove the springs to put in the air bags!
Installed these and a gooseneck hitch in my truck at the same time. It’s a 1/2 ton pickup so I wanted to get rid of the sag from weight on trailers. Wish I knew about these when I had a camper! Bags do what they are supposed to and the install was pretty simple. I did add some rubber grommets and wire loom just to keep the air line from chaffing where I ran it through some of the rails. I hooked to a gooseneck and put some weight on it once I was done and the 5-50 PSI spectrum seems like it is going to be more than enough for the things I haul. Would definitely recommend these to anyone who pulls any kind of trailer frequently.

Arrived in three days. Everything was exactly as they advertised. Would definitely recommend.
You have to have a hoist take out the wheel. Well, it’ll make you work.
They work great. They don't leak air even when I only have them at 5 psi for normal driving. When my half ton Dodge Ram is fully loaded and towing our camper, I can pump them up to 50 psi and make the truck handle like a one ton!
Easy to install works very well just need a little extra support when towing heavy loads. 12/2019 1200 mile trip 2019 ram. 1500 1000 pounds in the bed and towed 7000 pound trailer no problems.
Could not install as directed, had to remove coil springs.

This air lift 1000hd was just what we needed for our 2021 Ram pick up as we now pull a travel trailer. This air lift does not require any alterations to your vehicle. We bought a different air lift from another company & realized we would have to cut off the bump stops so we sent it back. Would recommend this to everyone.
A little bit of buyers remorse, Not overly impressed, in hindsight I should have got one of the better airbag systems. This particular set up with the bag inside the spring doesn’t “lift” the rear end to correct squat after a trailers Tongue weight is added, but it will stiffin the springs to only reduce squat - it must be set prior to imposing a load- on my 2017 Ram 1500. My trailer tongue weight it’s about 700 pounds
Install tip: The zip tie trick some guys are using online videos is legit and works

My original review is still valid. They do seam to be holding up - keep in mind, we only need to use them about once a month. Also, I was able to install the pump and intake filter in well protected spots so they don’t get much undercarriage abuse.

Good
Very easy install. Works perfectly to level out the truck while towing a 7.5x27. The bags hold air, never dropping air pressure, not even a little. Ride quality is barely affected from stock ride. Recommended by a friend who also used them and I’d recommend them too.
Great air lift system for my 2015 Ram 1500. Improved towing load leveling and ride. Had these on a previous vehicle years ago and they worked great then too. I would recommend to anyone wanting to improve ride and handling when heavily loaded.

As expected, no problems just a nice level ride. etrailer did a great job fulfilling my order and answered all my questions prior to purchase. Great experience.
This product has leveled my 2014 Ram 1500 under any load from my camper to my pipe top trailer with farm equipment and even put 1500 pounds over the axel and it just sat level. I just keep a consistent 40 pounds in there and they work great!!

The springs are rated for 50 psi. I inflate mine to 45 psi when I tow my RV. My half ton truck will still squat a little, but nothing like before. Overall, I’m satisfied with the performance of these springs.
