Jeff: Today, we're going to take a look at the JR Products gas shock mounting brackets with the 10 millimeter ball. It's for a quantity of two brackets. Now these mounting brackets are for the gas springs that have a 10 millimeter ball socket. And the ball socket is what will snap right into this ball.These are black-coated steel construction. A few dimensions on this. Measure the surface side.
It's going to be right at two and a half inches long. Width on it is right at five-eighths inches wide. And it does have three mounting holes. And the distance between those mounting holes center to center is one inch.And on the socket side, the part that has the ball mount on it, this side here. Again, the length on it is right at two and a half inches.
The height from the bottom to the very top, is right at one and a quarter inches tall. And it has two mounting holes. And the distance between those mounting holes center to center is one and a half inches.And it does include the two mounting brackets. But that should do it for the review on the JR Products gas shock mounting brackets with the 10 millimeter ball..

JR Products mounting brackets for gas springs with 10-mm ball mount.Brackets are as seen in the picture. The only reason I gave them a 4-star rating, is that I'm not sure how strong they are. The pivot heads aren't screwed in, seem to be pressed and flared into the bracket. Since the bracket is pretty thin, not sure how strong that connection is. The hatch I'm supporting with each bracket is pretty heavy (50 lbs), so we'll see if there are any problems. If you don't see a later review, then everything worked out!
