Extensive Testing
InfiniteRule products undergo extensive third-party testing to determine shear strength. The shear strength is determined by placing the locking pin in a stress position and subjecting it to increasing force until a required proof load (maximum force received without deformity) is met or the pin fails. This locking pin has a shear strength of 45,000 lbs.
The InfiniteRule locking pin is used to secure your swivel hook or shackle to your bumper mount. This allows your InfiniteRule lock to be used for towing and off-road activities such as rock crawling, mudding, and recovery. The safe working load limit is 15,000 lbs.
The flush-style design prevents the lock from being broken or pried off your swivel hook or shackle. The tapered head provides an additional layer of theft deterrence by preventing a would-be thief from being able to grip the lock with pliers or a wrench.

Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the infinite rule, three inch locking pin. This locking pin is designed to replace the standard pin, for your swivel hook or shackle, so that you can secure that swivel hook or shack shackled to your bumper Mount. As you can see here, we do have two different options. You have your black and your stainless steel.
Both of these are going to have the same dimensions and weight capacities and everything. So I thought I'd show them together but they are sold individually. You can find them using the part numbers right underneath them there. So each one is going to have a pin diameter that is seven eights of an inch. So it's going to slide right into that bumper Mount and hook or shackle.
This is, overall length of about three and seven eighth's just under eight, a four inches and an opening there or a span inside pin length of three inches. Now that's important because these are designed specifically to work with your, diabolo shackles, hammer head, and swivel hooks, as well as the identity shackles, and because these are a, a precise fit it's going to make it much more difficult for would be thieves to come along and pry or cut these. And they're going to be nice and snug up against your shackles and bumper Mount. And you can see on our lock and this does have a nice tapered flush style head. It's also got a, pick proof screw and lock mechanism to help deter theft.
So rather than just doing like a half turn to unlock it which can easily be picked this you have to keep turning the key kind of unscrew it. So it's going to be a lot more secure for you and then just kind of push it together and start turning it again to get it locked in place. These are constructed of heavy duty materials are black. Here is constructed of an anodized aluminum and our stainless steel of course is constructed of stainless steel. So they're both going to be very durable.
They've been through rigorous testing to ensure the lock pin, can handle extreme towing and off-road activity to make sure that, they'll hold up to any of the uses that you want for those hooks and shackles. These do have a safe working load limit of 10,000 pounds and a sheer strength of 27,000 pounds. And so again, it's going to hold up well to any activity that you're wanting to do up to those weight capacities. Each one is going to have a corrosion resistant finish to it, to make them extremely durable and long lasting. You can see our weather resistant tethered, dust cap, is going to, cover over, our, lock, face, to ensure that water and debris all that stay out. So we don't have to worry about those getting in there and causing issues in our lock core. These are capable of being keyed alike. So you can just use one set of keys to handle all the the infinite rule locks that you have. You do get two keys with each locking pin. So even though they are, can be key to like you will still have individual locks, keys for the locks On the inside here, and if I undo this, you can see we do have an O-ring on the inside, That's going to help protect the internal components from dirt and grime once we have it all installed. So anything that might leak through that crack there is going to get stopped by that O-ring before it gets into our internal components of our lock core. These are both made here in the USA. So you can trust they're made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the U.S so if you're looking for a way to upgrade your standard pan on your swivel hook or shackle to something that's going to be a little bit more secure for you. This is a great way to go either way just depending on your preference of which color they're both going to do a great job for you. So that's going to complete our look for today. I wanted a secure way to connect my jeep to our motor home when travelling and this gets it done. It takes a little more work hooking up worth the piece of mind.

Works for the hyperhitch 9” adjustable drop 3” hitch. Needs two 3/4 pins if no pintle accessory and three if pintle accessory. Has the prefect span .
Although trailer theft is rare, I highly recommend this lock pin for your gooseneck combined with a hitch lock to prevent and deter the idea. Especially when having to leave your trailer unattended in a public parking lot or on the job. The simplest solution at a great price.
The Hitch lock is definitely a deterrent. It's made of great quality material. It is standing the test of time from harsh weather and tampering. I highly recommend this hitch lock. We're purchasing another.

The product is great, getting it from ETRAILER is the problem, 2nd time had to order this, 1st time I ordered this part with 2 trailer rims that were said to be in stock, waited 10days for them to tell me they're waiting for the rims to come in from backorder 6months from now so we can ship everything together. It's spring I'd like to use my trailer before now. Poor customer service!!

This is the simplest and most effective lock I’ve ever used, I pull my bulldog hitch off, then install the locking pin when my trailer sits that takes two minutes or less to secure…
I have a Gator Made 40 foot utility trailer and after speaking to a couple of your representatives, I decided to try this hitch lock (we weren't sure if it was long enough). Well, it was!! I'm impressed with the product. Very solid. And now, I can sleep at night knowing that my trailer is secure from theft.

This locking pin adds a bit of security to my new LQ horse trailer. I have a coupler lock for the gooseneck, but realized the gooseneck can be removed by simply pulling the unlocked pin. Problem solved!!!
