Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this SAM replacement cutting edge for your Fisher snowplows. This is going to replace the five eights inch thick cutting edge for your Fisher snowplow. It is gonna be comparable to the Fisher snowplow part number 5534, and it's actually more directly comparable to the extra thick version, which is the 5534HD. And so, if you are needing to replace that cutting edge for your Fisher snowplow, this is gonna do a great job for you. It will mount to the bottom of the blade to break apart ice and scrap away your packed snow.
This is made here in the USA of a C1090 high carbon steel for premium strength and heavy duty impact resistance. This does have a brinell hardness number between 250 and 300, and it weighs about 114 pounds. You can see it does have this black powder coat finish that's gonna help resist corrosion. It is nine feet long or wide, depending on how you wanna look at it. Six inches tall.
And again, five eights of an inch thick. The mounting holes here will accept your five eights inch diameter carriage bolts. Those are not included with this, so you will have to provide them separately, but you probably already have them for your snowplow. The distance between our holes center to center is right at 12 inches. And if you're needing to know any of the other dimensions as far as your spacing, we do have a diagram available on the product page, so you can check that out if you're needing to make sure that it's gonna fit for you.
