Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a Gen-Y 2-Tang Clevis for two inch trailer hitches. The hitch-mounted 2-Tang Clevis is great for industry and agricultural applications. You will need to use a pin in order to make the connection's secure. The pin's not included, so that does need to be provided separately. But the diameter of the clevis pin hole; I'll take a measurement of that really quick, so it's looks like it's inch and a quarter.Now, this is designed to fit inside a two inch by two inch trailer hitch receiver. It's got the solid shank design on it and it offers two hitch pin hole locations so you can choose whatever one works best for your application.These are separated on center by an inch and a half apart from one another.
It does require a hitch pin and clip or hitch lock to secure it inside of your hitch. Those items are sold separately and available at etrailer.com.Pinholes on this unit will accept the standard five eighth inch diameter pin. The units made from durable steel construction. Features a really nice powder coated finish on it to resist rust and corrosion. Each tang measures three quarters of an inch thick and the distance between the two is two inches.I also took a measurement from the shank right here to the closest point to the clevis pinhole and that are right there measures two and one eighth inches.Now from the center of this hitch pinhole to the center of the clevis pinholes is around seven and seven eighths inches.
From the center of this one to the center of the pinholes is around nine and three eighths inches.This unit features a towing capacity of sixteen thousand pounds and a tongue weight capacity of two thousand pounds and it is made in the USA.That's going to do it for today's look at the Gen-Y 2-Tang Clevis for 2 inch hitch receivers.

Clevis pin sold separately.Hitch is exactly what I need. The item was very poorly packaged and had at one point probably had come completely out of the box. USPS thankfully took the time to put it back and tape the box well enough to get it delivered. I suspect that is why it took a day longer to get here.
