fit almost perfectly, had to relieve the drivers most aft hole 1/8" to get the bolt to go in straight. Surprisingly easy to install on a 2008 Challenger SRT8

2009 Chrysler 300C

I recently ordered 13465 class III hitch and this C55546 vehicle wiring harness for my 09 Chrysler 300C. It was very easy to install and times provided were very close. It took me just about two hours to install the hitch and harness. I did however stray a bit from the instructions on the harness though to make it more permanent and secure. Drilled hole in trunk floor pan and ran harness through it with some wire loom and a grommet. Then drilled a small hole in flat part of safety chain bracket on hitch to secure harness to hitch. I was a first time customer and would diffently use etrailer.com again.

by:
2010 Dodge Challenger

Hitch mounts right up with no installation problems. A lot easier if you have a helping hand but doable by your self as I did. Use it mostly for bike rack but towed a buddy's railbuggy home when it broke down once and it held up good.

by:
2006 Dodge Magnum

This receiver is very well designed and the coating on it is well done and appears quite durable. It tucks up under the car so far you barely notice it is there. Installation was EXACTLY as described in the instructions and video. Lowering the exhaust is NOT a big deal. My toughest hurtle was cleaning out the M12-1.75 threads that had corroded a bit on my 2006 R/T AWD Magnum. Not having the right tap, I had my local muffler shop clean those out, then I installed the hitch. Easy Peasy.

by:

The product fit perfectly, arrived very well packaged with all needed hardware. While it took longer than advertised to get on the car, it may have been my struggle with mufflers that had to be moved out of the way for attachment to car. The only surprise was the load capacity on the hitch receiver. I thought I would receive a 5000lb capacity unit, but received a 3500lb unit. More than enough for my towing needs so I'm happy with the installation. The unit is barely visible when the ball is not in the receiver. That's a nice perk.

Ford Edge

Quality & Fitment is very good, installed on Dad's 300C Heritage Touring everthing went very smoothly on install, visually inspected hitch welds and paint all looked to be very well done, purchased this hitch for use of a power chair lift so that dad would have more mobility options but as of today the lift hasn't been used due to weather! Also purchased the stabilizer strap, don't really care for the attachment point, extra care will need to be taken to not damage paint at forward edge of trunk lid, will use a microfiber chamois cloth changing frequently to avoid any problems!

2007 Chrysler 300C

I recently purchased this hitch and wiring harness for my car so I could haul my Polaris rzr. The products were installed with ease, only issue I had was rusted threads on my car. A little spay or a tap solved this issue. The hitch handles the load well. I would recommend this supplier to anyone. Fast delivery and good service. Instructions are detailed and complete. Videos are a plus, very helpful.

I would recommend etrailer and this product,,very fast shipping and simple to install at a great price
Now I can haul a trailer with motorcycles and kayaks with my Dodge Charger

Product worked great, towed my harley from Washington state to Sturgis and back with no problems

2010 Dodge Charger

Instructions were pretty good. I had never installed a hitch before. Took about 2 hours with me doing it by myself. Instructions say novice takes about an hour. I think with 2 people, it definitely would take an hour or less. Will need to drive back of car onto ramps in order to get to exhaust hangers to drop exhaust lower so you can bolt in the hitch. This was for a 2010 Dodge Charger. I bought this vehicle used so I don't know if it had a custom bumper on it, but the hitch doesn't go out far enough so my bike rack looks like it would rub against the bumper. I'm going to have to get an extension, but I'm still very happy with the product.

2006 Dodge Magnum

I placed my order on a Friday evening around 9pm. I was not expecting to get any shipping notice until after the weekend. I received an email about 2 hours later saying my hitch was about to ship! No other company I've ever shopped online with was that quick. I choose the 3-5 day shipping and got it Tuesday afternoon. Both the hitch and wiring harness purchased are top quality. Only negative I have is that I have to download and print out the mounting instructions...

Im very happy with my trailer hitch. I thought I would be able to install it myself but once I saw the instructions, I decided to have a professional install it for me.

by:

As a soldier I had not time to place the package on my vehicle as of yet But what I can say Is that my package came early and with all the components to it and it was the cheapest at the time for all that I ordered your prices are the best I have seen in months keep them low and you will have more come to buy from you.

2005 Chrysler 300C

This hitch fit perfectly. Took a little more than the recommended brush to clear the rusty threads on my 2005 (actually used a tap) but the bolt fish tool that was provided work very well. Once the rusty holes were cleared, installation only took minutes.

Still working great. Nice to be able to tow my utility trailer with my 300 when my Suburban is in for maintenance.

by:
2009 Dodge Challenger

Hitch installed easily on my 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T. Instructions were good and easy to follow. It took an afternoon to install. I towed a trailer with my Ducati from Montana to Las Vegas, Nv with no problems. I would recommend this product. One suggestion for improvement would be to have a holder of some sort for the 4 way flat plug, just so that it would tuck up neatly and not dangle down and look ugly.

by:
2008 Chrysler 300C

The hitch works great. However, installation on my Chrysler 300C wasn't as easy as the video implied. The 300C has dual exhausts and one side doesn't drop down as much as the other without risking something breaking. As a result, it was a challenge to get the bolts in place and tightened. Definitely a 2-person job because of the dual exhaust. The product itself works great.

Trailer hitch i ordered came super quick. Was exactly what I ordered and extreamly happy with my purchase
Also it was not damaged like another website i ordered from which also came late and was not what i ordered.

2007 Dodge Charger

Very impressed with this Curt hitch. I was a more than a little apprehensive of adding a hitch to my '07 Dodge Charger R/T. This hitch has an incredible high gloss finish and it tucks up neatly under the car whereas it's not nearly as noticeable as I feared it would be. In my opinion it does not distract at all from the appearance of my car. It took about an hour to install. Great product and I ordered it on a Thursday and received it on Monday.Would order another Curt hitch from Etrailer.com in a heartbeat.

by:

The customer service at etrailer is awsome. My trailer hitch and T connector wiring arrived exactly when promised. The hitch bolted up to my vehicle as per the instructions which were very clear and easy to follow. It only took me about an hour in my backyard with hand tools to install. I will utilize etrailer in the future and will recommend etrailer to my family and friends

by:

This hitch met and exceeded all my expectations. Sturdy quality construction. Ease of installation (other than my 7 year old threads to get bolts into) Thanks for the helpful tutorials.

Fit perfectly. I loved the little wire tool that lets you easily put the forward bolt in through the frame channel that you can't get your hand too. What a time and life saver! Excellent product, good directions and has performed flawlessly! I tow small 5x10 trailer and 14ft all weld fishing boat with no problems.

  • Recommendation for Hitch, Bike Rack, and Cargo Carrier on a 2005 Dodge Magnum
I recommend going with the Curt Class III Hitch, # 13465, which is designed specifically for your 2005 Dodge Magnum. Curt does require the use of Stabilizing Straps, # 18050, with all non-trailer loads like bike racks and car carriers. For a rack that will allow access to the rear cargo area with the bikes loaded, you will want to take a look at the Thule Apex Swing Bike Carrier, # TH9027XT. This swinging rack will carry 4 bikes and is loaded with features like the cushioned anti-sway...

The closest match for your 2008 Chrysler 300 that we have is the Draw-Tite Hitch Cargo Carrier, item # 6502. This carrier has a 20 inch by 48 inch deck and will handle up to 500 pounds. You will need to check the tongue weight capacity of your vehicle and hitch to be sure it will be able to carry the weight of your scooter and the weight of the cargo carrier at the rear of your car. You will also need to measure the distance from the center of your hitch pin hole out to the farthest part...

I am not sure which Swagman bike rack you are considering so I attached a link that has all of the Swagman bike racks we offer. I do have a solution that would allow you to carry 3 bikes with your 2010 Dodge Challenger, but there are no trunk-mounted bike rack options that are confirmed to fit your vehicle. What I would recommend you do is get a Curt Hitch # 13465 and get a 3-bike hitch mounted bike carrier. I attached installation instructions and an installation video for this hitch for you to check out. For a 3-bike rack I would recommend you get a Swagman Trailhead 3 Bike Rack # S63365. In order to use a hitch-mount motorcycle carrier on your 2006 Chrysler 300C you will need the highest-capacity hitch available and this is the 2-inch Class III Curt # 13465. Curt's warranty requires that you use a support strap # 18050 for all non-wheeled loads such as hitch motorcycle carriers.
