Get the safest and most comfortable ride while hauling your camper with tie-downs that mount on the frame of your pickup. Great for your truck's looks: remove the arms from the brackets and you'll hardly know that the brackets are there.
Features:
If you're looking for the best tie-downs for your camper, frame-mounted is the way to go. The frame is the most solid part of your entire vehicle, so it just makes sense to attach your camper to something that's not going to warp, bend, or twist. Even more importantly, the camper's center of gravity will sit lower and its weight will be spread across the entire bed. This avoids a top-heavy load perched on top of your bed rails that's liable to sway and get pushed around by crosswinds. The camper's not going to shift or slide around while you drive; it's going to stay put, and your truck is going to handle just like it does without a camper.
Quick Tip: If you have a plastic or spray-in bed liner, it's important that you use a rubber mat under the camper to eliminate any sliding or bouncing.
Frame-mounted tie-downs are also a great pick for preserving your truck's good looks. The brackets install on the frame, tucked nearly flush with the underside of the vehicle. Remove the arms from the brackets when you're not hauling your camper, and the brackets will be barely visible.
Completely custom to your vehicle, the tie-downs attach to exisiting holes in your frame so that there's little to no drilling and no need for any modifications. Because they're custom, you'll want to use our in-house application guide to make sure you get the exact right model. The tie-downs you need might be different depending on what type of hitch or other accessories you have.
Once the tie-downs are installed, use a set of turnbuckles (sold separately) to secure the camper to the tie-downs. The shank on each arm has 2 pin holes so you can choose how far out they extend, that way the turnbuckles can reach the anchors on your camper without making contact with your truck. Tighten the turnbuckles to the correct level of tension (not too tight!).
Make sure the anchor points are offset from the tie-downs instead of lined up with them so that they will hold your camper from multiple angles. This is important for keeping your camper from shifting. Two holes in the attachment plate of the tie-downs let you find the best angle for you camper anchors.

Get the safest and most comfortable ride while hauling your camper with tie-downs that mount on the frame of your pickup. The top bolt hole on the front passenger side was out by about 1/8" but I resolved that by being able to get a drill on the inside of the frame and drilling through that way to allow the bolt to go through both truck frame and tie down. If it had been on the driver's side then it may have been an issue with the gas tank in the way. All is now installed and ready to go,
I bought both the front and rear tie-downs for my old Lance truck camper on a 2023 Ford F-250. Once installed they work great; very heavy duty. But the thing I liked most was the detailed instructions for installation. Everything needed came with the tie-downs and they were perfectly fitted to my F-250. All I needed was my old torque wrench. Installation probably took less than 2 hours.
The frame mounted front tie downs are as good as expected. They bolted on fairly easily with some fishing of bolts through existing frame holes. I have a F250 supercab/long bed with wheel to wheel running boards. Both Torklift and eTrailer websites said the tiedowns would fit with my running boards but they didn't. eTrailer did offer to pay to return the tie-downs but I chose to keep them. I was hoping for a discount on new cab length running boards for my troubles but they would only offer 5% so I skipped that and modified my existing boards myself. I'm going with 4 stars because of the confusion on the web site and a few typo's in the instructions but the tiedowns are very nice.
It would be nice if they made plastic or rubber end caps for the open ends
Great product, installation took about 2 hours. Videos were helpful in explaining the sequence of install
Received torklift tie downs for 2017 F350. Arthur at e trailer. Com was professional and walked me through the ordering and best install methods. Greatly appreciated. Will be ordering from these guys for my rv needs. Thanks guys at etrailer.com
The fit was great and the quality seems to be excellent! The instructions were very good, but be careful when you do the drivers side install, as the picture only shows the passenger side.
I originally ordered the incorrect rear Torklifts camper hold downs for my truck. However, I called etrailer and explained my error. They not only helped me pick the correct ones, they sent them out that day. I haven’t installed the rear TC hold downs yet. I was most impressed with the free shipping both ways with no questions asked! I was issued an RMA and the refund came quickly. Very good customer service in an age when there often isn’t any service , let alone great service. The front mounts fit perfectly!
There great, fronts bolted up perfectly, the rears I hah to do a lot of grinding on the bolt on square plates to make em slide in the factory hitch almost a 1/8 inch all around…
Delivered fast. Way easier to install than I expected. Video plus instructions made it easier to understand. They fit perfectly.
Sturdy and convenient to use, but the powder coat finish has proven to not be very durable or able to withstand typical on-road use. I think other owners may have experienced the same. I would have expected a better finish.
Installed on a Curt 2 1/2 receiver just put on my F350 SD Supercab Diesel SRW 4x4. This bracket does fit this truck with the Curt receiver. I found a little oil on the drill bits and a reamer to remove the last bit of metal from the holes in the receiver helped mount the brackets.
They have worked great. From Michigan to Alaska and back, no problems! They were easy to install and would recommend them to any truck camper owner.
Great solid product and easy to install. Solution to your upgrade to a dually for the truck camper.
These really are such a great product! Easy install and excellent durability after a year. Have put several thousand miles on the truck with the camper and couldn’t be happier!
Had these on two different vehicles. Good product.
Very well built. All of the hardware needed was included. Good fit. Bolted right on. A little pricey but worth it for good quality.
Installed these on a 2022 F450. Installation was straight forward. The wire used to locate the bolts from the interior of the frame worked well (very clever).
The bolts needed to be installed loosely due to some distortion due to welding...The bolts were then torqued to value.
This is my second set for a second truck camper.
Easy to install. Good quality construction. Great customer care when I ordered the incorrect version - was well handled.
It fits but you have to force it into place on a 22 f350 CCLB. The top mount that ties into the bed mount sits too low on the driver and passenger side. Not quite a "exact fit" like advertised. Pictures of both the driver and passenger side added.
Fast shipping and had the Torque camper tie downs mounted within a week. I will use these guys again.
The torklift products are excellent as always and customer service from etrailer is some of the best on the web! They are my go to source for all things truck camper.
Easy to use both installing and removin g.
These parts fit exactly as specified with no modifications necessary. It took me a couple hours to install by myself, another pair of hands would have sped up the process but it can be done alone. They hold up well and when not in use I store the extensions in the garage and the receivers are almost hidden.
We couldn't be happier with the Torklift Camper Tiedowns. Install time was minimal and fit and finish couldn't be better. Bolt fishing the frame on the passenger-side of a 2017 F350, is slightly different than the instructions suggest. But, you can't blame Torklift for not being able to keep up with every Ford engineer who gets a wild hair, to slot a new hole in the frame on Friday @ beer-thirty. For any buyers who have an F350, SRW, long box, with running boards that extend into the bed: don't panic! Even though the drop down menu doesn't give you the option, the Torklift: TLF2021 kit will still clear the step PERFECTLY! (See picture) Thanks again, etrailer. Ordering was a breeze, the package tracker was awesome and communication was excellent.
