Recommended Camper Tie Downs for 2020 Ford F-350 with Extended Running Boards

Question:

I am in the process of ordering a new F-350 custom build. I am wondering if you have new products available for my soon to be truck. The truck is a 2020 F-350 SRW SuperCab with 8ft bed. I really want the order for the truck to have extended running boards but if there are not tie downs available, I will go to the regular length running boards if have to. Just needing to know the items that Ill need through TorkLift. Thanks!

You're actually on the right track, here. The TorkLift Custom Frame Mounted Tie Downs # TLF2021 and # TLF2021A (aluminum) are a confirmed fit through TorkLift for the 2020 F-350 with the running boards that extend past the cab of the truck. Since these are available you'll be able to go ahead and order those extended running boards. For rear tie downs, you'll want to use the # TLF3008 or # TLF3008A (aluminum), which are also confirmed for your new truck.

If you also need turnbuckles for these frame mounted tie downs you'll want to use the TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles for Frame-Mounted Tie-Downs # TLS9529-2-LK. I also recommend some type of suspension upgrade to counteract the heavy load caused by a truck bed camper. The Torklift StableLoad # TLA7310S will do a great job at minimizing sway and body roll that is often experienced with a truck bed camper. These are a quick-disconnect system so that you can disconnect them when you're not carrying the camper and return to the original ride quality of your truck.
