The previous owner of the trailer may have had a specialized cargo application that required left-to-right positioning of the tracks. For 53' of E-Track I recommend getting 2 of the etrailer # e42VR for Black Powder Coated or # e62VR for Galvanized. These kits come with 4 sections that are 8' long and while 2 of these kits will give you about 64' of E-Track, it's much more cost-effective to purchase in bulk and have some left over than to try to get the exact amount and maybe have just a little left over.

The screw holes on the E-Tracks are 1/4 inch in diameter and the E-Tracks are made of galvanized steel. Erickson does not recommend a specific type of fastener, so you can use any type of steel fastener, screw or bolt, that you wish. If you choose to use screws, be sure the underside of the head is flat and not curved so it sits flush on the E-Track. Instead of securing your marching band equipment from the floor you could secure it from the wall using the Erickson Vertical E-Track # E19146. I have a solution for you, but the CargoSmart X-Track Cargo Organizer Pro Bundle # 3481788-P does not come with any backing plates, but you can add them with the E-Track Backing Plate # e96RR. You will need to drill new holes in this backing plate in order to make it compatible with the CargoSmart X-Tracks, but this is the only option we have available.

You're on the right track- the Brophy E-Track Backing Plate # BPEZ is what you'll want to use as a support plate under your E-track system like the Brophy # ET05 or Erickson # E19135. You'll want to use a backing plate at each end of the track and in the middle for the maximum support. If you are referring to E-Track parts like # E19148 and the related accessories shown on the linked page these tracks can be mounted to many different surfaces. The thickness and material of the surface determines the type of hardware to use. We recommend two fasteners per linear foot per side on the track. So for example, a 2-foot length of E-Track # EM59150 would need no less than six fasteners.

To secure the Erickson Horizontal E-Track # EM59150 you need to use the E-Track Backing Plates # e66RR to secure them to the floor. The screws can easily pull out of the plywood especially considering your van will be absorbing a lot of road shock. You will want to ensure that the plywood is also secured to the floor either with the backing plates or in another similar manner. You can install the etrailer Horizontal E-Track # e62VR and drive over it just fine with a vehicle as the tracks only sit 1/2" tall - then you can secure your side by sides with a tie-down kit like part # EM98CV you were looking at.

I have a solution that should work pretty well for you. I'd run a strip of E-track like # E19148 along the edges of the trailer, at least at the front and rear of the trailer.
The E-track could be used to secure the lumber using a ratchet strap like # SLLS28RER. The straps are sold individually, so you'd want at least two. Although we don't have any kits for a 33" tire you can use the 2" x 12' Erickson E-Track Wheel Tie-Down Strap # EM58523 along with the Erickson E-Chock Wheel Chocks # EM09162-2 to essentially create your own kit. The tie down strap has a safe working load limit (WLL) of 1,100 lbs and a maximum load (break strength) of 3,300 lbs.

The Thule TracRac CapRac Ladder Rack for Camper Shell/Truck Cap # TH29200XT is not actually meant to be installed into top tracks. This crossbar system is actually meant to be installed in fixed points on your camper shell so it's not going to work with your Yakima tracks.
