I did some digging around and it turns out that Carter Shade was bought out by Faulkner RV Awnings around 20 years ago so direct replacements are going to be slim to none unless you try and chase this rabbit with Faulkner directly.
With that said, I think it'd be easier to replace the entire setup with a more modern awning. In order to get you going in the right direction, you're going to need to measure the width and length of your current awning.
For example, if you measured 16' long,... view full answer...
The ECU on your 2010 Chevrolet Silverado with the 6.6L Duramax does not have the ability to read the engine oil temperature. The good news is you can add the EAS Temperature Sensor # EP98608 along with the EAS Universal Sensor Input # EP98605 and EAS Expandable Cable # EP98602. This will allow you to read the engine oil temperature. view full answer...

According to my TracRac representative, both trucks use the same base rail system, so your existing rails will work just fine on your new truck. As you said, the bolt holes do not match up, but if you flip the rails from front to back and side to side, you will find that the holes should match up. view full answer...
The Hide-A-Goose Rail Kit Only, # 50111, that you referred to is the correct installation kit for your 2006 Chevrolet 1500 Silverado with 6-1/2 or 8 foot bed, but according to the manufacturer this kit will work with the older 63102 hide a goose head only and will not work with current model head, # 9465. The older head is no longer available. If you currently have a Hide-A-Goose head that is older than approximately 2008, then this may be the kit you need.

You will need to add a flexible brake line hose only if your trailer coupler uses a hinge at the rear of the coupler (if it is a foldaway type). If so, we offer flexible brake line hoses in three lengths, each with male and female 3/8-inch-24 UNF fittings. The 13-inch hose is part # T0777300; the 18-inch hose is part # 18018-SF; and the 25-inch hose is part # T0980100. view full answer...

To start with, the 6,000 pound springs I suggest are # e34SR. They're 25-1/4 inch long, 5 leaf springs. I recommend either hanger kit # APT3 or # APT5 with the springs. The difference between the two hanger kits is the height of the hangers.
With either kit it's recommended to space the hangers 29-1/2 inches apart and the axles 33-1/2 inches apart. See the diagram I attached.
You'll need to position the axles so that 10 percent of the trailer's total weight is on the tongue. I attached... view full answer...
Weight distribution systems have a tongue weight range, essentially the spring bar effective window. When selecting a system, you want your loaded tongue weight to fall within that window. If the tongue weight is more, the spring bars will be ineffective and could bend or break. If the tongue weight is below that window, you will have a very stiff ride and could even end up losing traction on the rear vehicle wheels.
I will make some recommendations based on your 800/7000 figures. If this... view full answer...

A 14 inch trailer wheel with a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern will typically have a 3.19 pilot diameter, but we offer two exceptions that come pretty close to the 2-1/2 inch pilot you're looking for. The Dexstar Conventional Steel Wheel, part # AM20304 for black or # AM20334 for white both have a 2.62 inch pilot diameter.
This isn't the exact pilot diameter you were looking for, but the wheel's pilot diameter only matters if you're needing a hub centric wheel. A hub centric wheel will use... view full answer...
I would be happy to help you find a brake controller and a 7-Way plug for your 2000 Chevrolet Silverado. I did some research and the tow/haul mode is a standard option and doesn't necessarily mean you have the factory tow package.
