The Erickson Heavy-Duty Silver Tarp, 14 x 14 Weave - 30' x 50' # EM57028 is a really strong tarp with a criss-cross 14 x 14 weave of 1,000-denier nylon thread. It has a poyethelyne coating to resist UV rays and harsh weather to prevent shrinking, rot, and mildew. It has rust-proof grommets and plasti-reinforced corners.
I recommend inspecting the tarp for any manufacturing defects before initial use. The manufacturer does not warranty this product after use. There are just too many... view full answer...
The Erickson Mess Tarp, part # EM57059, has as shipping weight of 12 pounds. Since there won't be much packaging involved we can subtract a little from that and estimate the tarp itself at about 10 pounds or so. view full answer...
As long as you are talking about putting the tarp above you, like from the top of your doorway to the porch railing (and not on the ground) I don't see any reason why a tarp like the Erickson Heavy-Duty Silver Tarp, 14 x 14 Weave - 8' x 10' # EM57021 wouldn't work just fine to keep your porch covered.
You'd have to come up with some type of creative solution for mounting it from your home to the porch railing (at an angle above the door so you can walk out) but it's certainly something... view full answer...

This is honestly one of the most unique questions I have ever gotten and we do have something that might be of use. While there are no storage covers made for 6' x 10' trailers you can put a heavy-duty tarp over it which should be beneficial from keeping your new trailer from being damaged by crows.
The Erickson Industrial-Grade Truck/Trailer Tarp # EM57041 is 8' x 10' and has eyelets and you can use Tarp Tie-Down Straps such as # EM06741, which are 44-1/2" long, to secure it.

I went ahead and called my contact at TruXedo, and they confirmed that there is no difference between the replacement "cover" and the replacement "tarp." If you want me to confirm a replacement cover for your vehicle, I would be happy to help you if you provide the year/make/model/bed size of your truck. view full answer...
We do have covers that would work for your 8-ft bed but they are not water repellent like the # RA1330 cover for the cab is.
You may want to check out part # EM57056. This is a 6-ft x 8-ft mesh tarp that protects the truck bed from dirt and the sun's UV rays. view full answer...
The Access TonnoSport Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover # A22030239 is water resistant. It is not water proof as water can find its way in through the rails or stake pockets. The tarp/cover will repel water and the Velcro system will keep it tight so you won't have standing water on your cover. view full answer...
I spoke with my contact at Erickson and she told me that the Cargo Tie Down with S Hooks # EM06741 is made of a stretchable EPDM synthetic rubber and will stretch to approximately half of its original length (or about 20 inches), so you should have no problem reaching 42 inches. view full answer...
The Erickson Industrial Power Pull Bungee Cord - Wire Hooks w/ Pull Loops - 30" Long # EM06666 are intended to be used for either indoor or outdoor applications. They come with a 90 day warranty and I haven't heard of any cracks or breaks with them. They have a woven material to help with the initial UV ray impact so the rubber isn't directly impacted.
Unfortunately I have no way of testing them for long term sun exposure under the same conditions you have, I only have the customer reviews... view full answer...
UV rays and extreme heat are tough on any materials, even ones made specifically for the outdoor environment. I would say that nearly four years of trouble-free service from your RhinoEXTREME RV sewer hose # CAM39861 is pretty good considering your severe environment. This is their heaviest-duty sewer hose.
My contact at Camco agreed that you must have taken good care of this item since it lasted for almost 4 years in the Arizona desert. My contact also agreed that anything you can do... view full answer...
