No vent cover on the market is tall enough to let the vent to fully open lid, but this is known by the manufacturers who all state that the covers allow the lids to open enough for the vent to properly operate. Powered lift vents should stop once they feel resistance and for manual lift vents you would just need to stop once the vent lid touches the cover.

The Camco Vinyl Spare Tire Cover # CAM45346 is enclosed on one of its side surfaces. This tire cover is intended for use on spare tires. It is not intended to be used on an installed wheel on a vehicle that is going to be moved. I do not suggest using any tire cover product while the vehicle is moving as it is possible that the cover could be entangled in brake or suspension components.

When the BAKFlip G2 Hard Tonneau Cover, part # BAK26407 is installed it will be secured in place with latches attached to the underside of the Tonneau cover near the tailgate.
If you do not have a locking tailgate, the Tonneau cover will not lock it in place. The tailgate will still operate that same. It is not a good idea to tow any trailer with a storage cover in place.
Driving at highway speeds will almost surely weaken if not damage parts of the cover. In the worst-case scenario, a cover could start to break apart on the highway and cause injury to you or other motorists. The storage covers we sell for travel trailers and 5th wheels are intended to resist the elements but not the sustained forces from winds at continuous highway speeds.
