I have a great solution for you. The paint on the Westin Diamondstep Rear Bumper # 61000 is a semi-gloss coat. The brackets are purchased separately for this bumper (as opposed to being welded on for installation). However, my contact at Westin confirmed that # 61000 will not work on your 1987 Chevrolet C/K Series pickup.
