If you have not repacked the bearings since new or in the last 2 years I would definitely repack the bearings. The time it takes will be quickly forgotten when you are out on the road and assured that your trailer is safe and not going to cause you problems. Because boat trailers are backed into the water they are subject to getting water in the bearings and breaking down the grease inside. If the boat is backed into the water when the bearings are still warm from transporting the boat... view full answer...
You may run into some traction issues especially if you are using a rear wheel drive only vehicle. A weight distribution hitch like the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37060ET is designed to transfer weight that would normally be on the rear end of your tow vehicle and transfer it to the front axle as well. The reduction of weight on the rear drive wheels may result in loss of traction on a wet boat ramp.
You will need a Pole-Tongue Adapter for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution... view full answer...
All you need for the right 205/65-10 trailer tire and wheel is one that is rated either at or past the GVWR of your trailer; anything rated higher than that is paying more for capacity you aren't using. While you didn't mention the GVWR, the highest rated 205/65-10 tire and wheel is the 1,650 lbs you mentioned (there isn't anything smaller with a higher rating), and four of those are 6,600 lbs, so as long as your trailer's GVWR is less than that, go with a tire and wheel from Kenda, with... view full answer...
The tire and wheel combos we carry like the part # AM31994 are not machined balanced. You can have the tire and wheel combos balanced at a local tire shop if you wanted to. However, this type of balance is not required to use on your boat trailer.
What our tire manufacturers will do is line up the light spot on the tire with the heavy spot on the wheel. This is a type of balancing but not like how car tires are balanced (with weights on a balancing machine). view full answer...
We have tire wheel combos that have a 185/80-13 tire but they are all Bias-ply and not radials like you said you are using. The 13-inch radial tire or combo we offer is a 175/80-13.
I have attached a link to the tires and tire/wheel combos we offer you can check out. If you are looking for a combo you will need to know the wheel bolt pattern of the wheels you need for your trailer. I have also attached a link to a helpful article that explains how to determine the wheel bolt pattern of... view full answer...
The Trailer Wheel Center Cap, # 319EZ, is mainly used for decoration and does not include a seal so it is very possible for water to get behind there and not completely drain.
This cap is not designed to keep water out of the hub, for that you would want to use a grease/dirt cap. view full answer...
There are a few things you will need to know in order to get the correct hub you want to carry as a spare. The best method is to remove the wheel and tire, and take one hub on the trailer apart and inspect the seals, race, and bearings to be sure you get the correct replacement.
If you are unable to find the numbers on the components as they are noted on the enclosed photo, you will need to use a precision instrument like a digital caliper and measure the noted areas on the spindle. This... view full answer...

In order to find the right spare tire holder for your pontoon boat trailer you can take a measurement of the bolt pattern. I have attached a helpful article that explains how to take the measurement.
Once you determine what the bolt pattern is on your wheel you can check out the attached link for the spare tire holders we offer. One of the carriers we offer is the Fulton Hi-Mount, part # FSTC1000301. This will work with wheels that have a 4 on 4 or a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern, and fits... view full answer...

There are some other items we need to know before recommending a replacement hub for your boat trailer.
The best way to determine which replacement hub you need for your trailer would be to remove one of the hubs and remove the bearings. Find the numbers stamped into the bearings and with those numbers and the information you have already provided we will be able to find a hub that will work for you.
If you cannot find the numbers on the bearings, you can take measurements of the spindle.... view full answer...
The Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack # FXP15 does feature a caster wheel that rotates to make it easier to move your boat trailer around. You can see this in the linked video at the 4-minute mark. The entire jack also swivels on its mount to allow you to stow it in a horizontal position when travelling and to lower it when you need to unhitch the trailer. view full answer...
The Kenda Loadstar 205/65-10 Bias Trailer Tire w/ 10" Solid Center Wheel - 5 on 5-1/2 - LR C # AM3H453 you referenced will work just fine for highway travel. We generally recommend going with radial tires for extensive highway travel, but because I assume you have a Tracker pontoon boat trailer, this tire and wheel is going to be the direct replacement you need. I do recommend you make certain you keep the tire inflated to its maximum 50 psi to ensure the best performance but it will be... view full answer...
I have attached a chart you can check out that describes the torque needed per wheel size, wheel stud size and material.
For an 8-inch wheel with a 1/2-inch wheel stud the torque is 75 to 86 ft-lbs.
For a 15 inch steel wheel with 1/2 inch wheel studs the torque is 90 to 120 ft-lbs and if you have an aluminum wheel the torque needed is 90 to 100 ft-lbs.
If you do not have a torque wrench I recommend the Powerbuilt Dual Drive Torque Wrench, part # ALL944001. This has 3/8 and 1/2 inch... view full answer...
Utilizing wheel chocks like the Anderson Tuff Chock # 3605 wouldn't be ideal for the angle you are stating. Of course the weight of the boat is likely not distributed evenly over the axle, there are some chocks I believe would work for the situation you stated. I recommend using the etrailer Wheel Chocks - Polyurethane - Qty 2 # 288-02011-2 which have a little more grip on the bottom of the chocks and have a little more give to ensure they won't slide down the hill. Another great option... view full answer...
There is not a chrome version available of the Tandem Axle Teardrop Trailer Fenders for Boat Trailers - Stainless Steel - 14" Wheels - Qty 2 # HP34VR.
That said, the # HP34VR being stainless steel with the PVC coating gives them a nice shine that is very similar to chrome. I actually ran out to the warehouse real quick to take a look at the fenders, and if you were to tell people they had a chrome finish, nobody would argue that.
There are photos on the product page which are representative... view full answer...

The 4 on 4 is a very common bolt pattern but just to make sure that this is what you have on your 1962 boat trailer, I went out to our warehouse to get a measurement. The side to side, or center a to center b, measurement is going to be 2-7/8 inches on the 4 on 4 rim so we have a match. As for not measuring the center hole, as long as you have lug centric wheels, which means they slide onto studs on the hub and are secured with lug nuts, this measurement won't be as crucial. Since the wheel... view full answer...
