How To Determine The Correct Hub Assembly For A Boat Trailer
Question:
hello I have a boat trailer that has tire size ST 205/75/R14. the wheel has 5 lugs. I would like to carry a spare wheel hub with bearings for emergency. Can you advise what size wheel hub i need to buy based on this info? Thanks

There are some other items we need to know before recommending a replacement hub for your boat trailer.
The best way to determine which replacement hub you need for your trailer would be to remove one of the hubs and remove the bearings. Find the numbers stamped into the bearings and with those numbers and the information you have already provided we will be able to find a hub that will work for you.
If you cannot find the numbers on the bearings,you can take measurements of the spindle. I have attached a diagram showing all of the measurements we would need to find the correct hubs and bearings for you. I recommend using digital calipers to get the most precise measurement.
