We've used the brake controller install kit part # ETBC7 on a similar Sprinter as your 2010 Dodge model. I attached a link to the video that shows the process down below.
The biggest hurdle to get over when installing this kit on a vehicle is tracking down the stoplight circuit on the brake pedal wiring. That's covered in the video though. Aside from that it's just basic wiring. view full answer...
I do have an option for you but due to the way the vehicle is setup, all of the trailer hitches they make for it will hang down rather low. The other option I have for you to prevent it from scraping the pavement would be to use a skid wheel like the Roadmaster Rollaway Trailer Hitch Protector part # RM-050. The skid wheel attaches to the hitch via the hitch pin hole and will prevent the receiver tube opening from scraping the pavement on inclines.

If you have your trailer disconnected from the trailer connector on your Sprinter the power loss will be no factor. I do recommend disconnecting a trailer when you are not using it so there would be no draw at all.
I also recommend keeping the connector clean and free of debris and moisture by using some dielectric grease like part # 11755. view full answer...
The Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Remote - Powered Lift, # FV807350 has a knob on vent housing allowing it to be operated by hand in case of power failure and this also allows for manual positioning. Opening with the remote will cause the vent lid to go to a fully open or a fully closed position. Per the Tech at Dometic, for a partially open position, you will need to use the remote to open the vent lid then retract to your desired positioning using the hand crank knob.

The TST TPMS # TST-507-INT-6-C is designed to clamp around the wheel before you mount the tires. You won't need to vent any air pressure unless you overloaded the tire's max psi rating. With this style of sensor you wouldn't need worry about the type of valve stem either, like you do with a flow-through style sensor. view full answer...
So I think we have a solution here for you, but there isn't a vehicle-end 5-way that has 25 feet of wire, so you'll need to splice in additional wire. As for using the blue wire, that is the reverse light wire on the 5-way, so you would need that since you want to utilize a reverse light. Here is what you would need:
- Hopkins Wiring Harness with 5-Pole Flat Trailer Connector - Vehicle End - 5' Long # HM37908
- Primary Wire - 16-Gauge - White - per Foot # DW02359-1
- Deka Heat Shrink... view full answer...
