Can Brake Controller Be Wired to Dodge Sprinter RV without Green Plug Under Seat or Dash
Question:
I have a Winnie View 2010 on a Dodge Sprinter Chassis with a Mercedes Benz engine. It was suppose to have a tow package for brake controller under the seat or dash. Non existant. According to other owners there was an issue between Daimler and Mercedes and they did not install the factory harness with plug. I have a round 6 pin plug at the rear of the bus. Lights work but cant figure out how to put a brake controller in. The owners manual is emphatic about using the green pluginch and say it can cause other electrical problems if not done properly. So much so that my mechanic wont touch it now will Dodge. Can you please direct me. One of the people on the group said you have a video on how to do the proper install if there is no factory harness. Please advise. Thanks

We've used the brake controller install kit part # ETBC7 on a similar Sprinter as your 2010 Dodge model. I attached a link to the video that shows the process down below.
The biggest hurdle to get over when installing this kit on a vehicle is tracking down the stoplight circuit on the brake pedal wiring. That's covered in the video though. Aside from that it's just basic wiring.
