Does Wiring Harness Installed On 2015 Sprinter Draw Battery Power When Not Being Used

Question:

This part calls for direct wiring to the battery. So the trailer will be powered from the battery and use the splice to relay signal. My question is, since the harness is wiring directly to the battery, does it pull some current when not being used. Ive had a few bad experiences with wiring accessory devices directly to the battery. Thanks you for your help with this product.

If you have your trailer disconnected from the trailer connector on your Sprinter the power loss will be no factor. I do recommend disconnecting a trailer when you are not using it so there would be no draw at all.

I also recommend keeping the connector clean and free of debris and moisture by using some dielectric grease like part # 11755.
