Both our Curt Trailer Hitch Receivers # C99FR & # C45CR for your 2023 Toyota Highlander are made in the USA. The # C45CR has an exposed cross tube and the strength to allow for use with a weight distribution hitch. The # C99FR has a hidden cross tube and the design prevents the use of a weight distribution hitch but is a better looking receiver if you only need to use for carrying hitch mounted accessories or towing small utility trailers. Typically a weight distribution hitch is only going... view full answer...
The Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # e98881 that you referenced is compatible with 2" x 2" and 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" trailer hitches so it is compatible with the OEM hitch on your 2017 Toyota Tacoma. You can use the specs to verify if you are still uncertain:
5/8" Diameter pin

The black base on the CIPA Rearview Mirror # CM32000 features a durable plastic construction. The mirror does come with a metal bracket piece though if your truck isn't already equipped with a wedge-style bracket. This is the small silver color piece included in the kit that would get attached to the windshield with adhesive. The base on the mirror would then slide over it and tighten to it with the included screw for mounting.
I have attached a short video review below that you can also... view full answer...
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C64DR for your 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross truly is a Class I hitch with a 2" receiver like you see on the product page. You are correct that Class I hitches typically have a 1-1/4" receiver but it looks like Curt wanted to turn some heads with this hitch design. As long as you remain within the weight rating of your Corolla Cross and/or the hitch (whichever is lower) you'll be good to go! view full answer...
Your tow package port on your 2005 Toyota Tundra will either be above the emergency brake pedal (even taped to it), or behind the kick plate panel to the left of the emergency brake pedal. The connector should be white. See the installation video on the 2006 Toyota Tundra I included as it will be the closest to your truck.
If you don't have a brake controller yet, I highly recommend going with the Tekonsha P3 # 90195 because its one of the most popular and highest rated brake controllers... view full answer...

The Curt Class III Ball Mount with 2" Ball - 2" Drop - 7,500 lbs # C45036 does come with the hitch ball installed. The ball platform is 3/4 inches thick which is standard with a 1 inch diameter hole. This is the shortest option for that rise and drop. There is a lower rated option in # C45131 but it is only due to the smaller hitch ball that is 1-7/8 inch diameter. It still uses the same ball mount and just changes the hitch ball.
There are longer options that are similar but nothing... view full answer...
There are a couple ways to determine what kind of axle you have. If there aren't any part markings on the axle or anywhere else on the trailer frame that list your trailer axle specifications, you need to measure your spindle with a calipers to get a precise measurement. I couldn't find a matching bearing based on the measurements you provided, so make sure you are using the right equipment to take these spindle measurements. You can also measure the axle diameter to get an idea of the... view full answer...

I would not recommend trying to fashion the Yakima Landing Pads 24, part # Y74FR, out of aluminum yourself. These fit kits have to be very precise, and trying to make one for yourself will definitely void any kind of warranty on the towers and crossbars.
As for the strength, Yakima has been doing quite well over the years with improving the quality of their products, so you can rest assured that the material of the Landing Pads 24 is strong enough to handle the 165-pound limit of the crossbars.... view full answer...
