What Grade Stainless Steel is Used and How are the Pads Attached to Westin Tube Steps 22-5050-1825

I would like to know the grade of stainless steel used to manufacture the step and how the step pad is attached to the tube. Thank you!

First, the pads are attached to Westin tube steps, # 22-5050-1825, using stems that are part of the pad and barrel clips that fit into holes on the tops of the steps.
For the grade of the stainless steel used I spoke with my contact at Westin. The steps are constructed of 304 stainless steel.
