Is the etrailer.com Receiver Lock Compatible with the OEM Hitch on a 2017 Toyota Tacoma
Question:
I have a 2017 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 pickup with a factory hitch.Does this part fit? and Almost as important does it come in black? Or at least does it have the black rubber grip sleeves on both sides,it shows both sides and only one side on different pictures on the web site.

The Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # e98881 that you referenced is compatible with 2" x 2" and 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" trailer hitches so it is compatible with the OEM hitch on your 2017 Toyota Tacoma. You can use the specs to verify if you are still uncertain:
5/8" Diameter pin
Inside width: 3-5/8"
Overall length: 6-7/8"
It does not come in black, but one end is black and the other end that locks the pin has a black dust cap to protect the tumbler from dirt and debris (see attached photo).
If you would like a locking hitch pin that is all black then you may be interested in the Hollywood Racks Hitch Lock for 2" Hitches # HRLHP2 if that is what you have on your Tacoma. This also comes with the dust cap to help protect the lock.
