I reached out to the manufacturer, Bulldog Winch, who was able to supply the installation instructions for the Bulldog Winch Custom-Fit Steel ATV Winch Mount # BDW15116.
These instructions will come with the winch mount, and said the 4-bolt pattern was 4.9" x 3” (124 x 76mm), and 2-bolt on the center line of fairlead/drum of 3.15” (80mm). For a winch to use with the Winch Mount # BDW15116 you can use the Bulldog Winch Powersports Series ATV Winch - 3,000 lbs # BDW15002 or 2,000 lbs # BDW15001. view full answer...
Your Bulldog winch would attach directly to the Bulldog Winch Custom-Fit Steel ATV Winch Mount # BDW15135. The winch gets installed upside down on the bracket and you do not need to use the original mounting plate that came with your winch. view full answer...
I spoke with a representative from Bulldog Winch about your situation. I was told you can turn the Bulldog Winch Powersports Series ATV Winch - Wire Rope - Roller Fairlead - 2,500 lbs, part # BDW15006, upside down, so feet side up, and it will still work. This would mean no changes to the way the winch operates, you are just mounting it upside down. The brake should still work in the same manner. view full answer...
The etrailer ATV winch # e98989 has a 3-1/8" x 6-5/8" mounting pattern on the bottom of the winch, so as long as you've got that mounting pattern on your winch plate this will mount directly to your 2020 Polaris Ranger UTV.
If you've got a different mounting plate hole dimension, let me know what you find and I can see if there is a way to make this work for you. view full answer...
The remote included with Bulldog Utility Winch # BDW15008 is a wired unit with cables that attach to both the battery and winch with included ring terminals. These are shown on the linked photo.
If you only expect to use the winch on occasion and don't mind having to re-connect the cables at either the battery or winch end, then you will be fine. You may want to keep a spare wrench (or other tool) on the ATV to ensure your ability to use the winch in an emergency. view full answer...
I spoke with my contact at Superwinch and he told me that the kit you need to wire up your Superwinch LT3000ATV part # SW1130220 at the rear of your truck is the part # BDW20043. This comes with everything you would need for power and ground. The switching you have would remain the same.
I attached a diagram that shows how this winch wires up as well. view full answer...
No matter where you mount the Superwinch LT2000 ATV Winch # 1220210 it does need to be powered via a 12 volt battery with a circuit breaker between the switch and battery, as per the the cutout of the instructions I've added for you.
You can use an auxiliary 12 volt battery and store it in a battery box such as # DW03188 or # TWSP12B and then have the circuit breaker temporarily mounted to the truck bed to do this. view full answer...

I contacted Superwinch for their thoughts on installing a Superwinch LT2000 ATV Winch such a long distance from the battery and they suggest using 6 gauge wire.
We have a winch wiring kit with 6 gauge wire, part # BDW20307, that is 10 feet long. We also have a part # BDW20026 that has 24 feet of 3 gauge wire. view full answer...
The red wire from the Superwinch LT4000 ATV Winch # SW1140220 that goes to the ATV main switch is basically just an on/off switch so the winch will only pull power when the ATV is on. Since you're installing this on a trailer you'll just need to connect that to a rocker switch like part # 37213405 and then flip the switch prior to using the winch (also be sure to flip the switch off when you're done!). view full answer...
It is recommended that you install the solenoid of the Superwinch LT3000ATV Winch # SW1130220 in the battery box or as close as you can to it keeping it out of the direct contact with water or weather. Failure to install it where Superwinch recommends could cause premature failure of the solenoid and/or warranty failure. view full answer...
The ignition switch wire on the Superwinch ATV winch # 1120210 requires a 12 volt connection. Basically it is designed to only let power go through the switch when the ignition is powered on. Since you are not using it on an ATV it would have to be connected directly to a constant 12 volt source. There isn't any other way unless you first ran that wire to a different switch, such as # PK34213. When off it would be as if an ATV was off. When on it would be as if the ATV was running. view full answer...

On the Superwinch LT2000 ATV Winch, part # 1120210, for your 2008 Honda TRX 500 Foreman Rubicon, the rocker switch is normally installed on the handlebar of the ATV. The black and green wires from the rocker switch will connect to the black and green wires on the solenoid.
Using a circuit tester, like part # PTW2993, to test the wires on your ignition switch, you will need to find the wire that is powered only when the ignition switch is in the "On" position. The remaining red wire on... view full answer...
When it comes to the wires for the Superwinch LT3000ATV Winch, # SW1130220, if you find that they are too long when mounting the unit on your 2015 Arctic Cat Wildcat Trail, you would have to zip tie those up just as you stated. Superwinch does not offer any type of custom wiring. view full answer...
The red wire that runs to the ignition switch on the Superwinch LT3000 part # SW1130220 would normally get run to power source that only sees voltage when the key of the ATV is on. In your application you would need to just run a 12 volt power circuit.
I attached a diagram for the wiring of the winch for you to check out as well. view full answer...
