You do not want to tap into the brake light on the truck to get the brake signal for the brake controller. There is a closer and easier approach if the brake switch is not accessible. Use the vehicle owners manual to find the location of the stop light fuse or CHMSL fuse. Then you can use a fuse tap, like # F2526, to tap into that circuit and get the require brake light only signal. Make sure that the fuse tap you use is the appropriate size for the stop light or CHMSL fuse in your truck.

Proportional trailer brake controllers like the P3, # 90195, work much better than time delay controllers but one limitation is that they have to be mounted in the direction of travel and cannot be turned or tilted to the side. Because of the specifics of how they must be mounted, these mounting brackets have to be secured to where ever they are mounted which does often times require drilling.
You will also need wiring harness # 3040-P to installation the brake controller. I have included... view full answer...
For this Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TTORTUN4 the bolt will install inside the recessed spring area and will be used to attach to your 2001 Toyota Tundra. I have included a diagram that shows the proper installation for your reference.

When installing the Firestone Ride Rite # F2445 with the B&W # BWGNRK1257-5W you won't actually be leaving any bolt holes empty. I've attached an exploded diagram from Firestone that shows the air supply bolt actually has a nut/washer that will fit over the hollow bolt and secure boht the B&W Gooseneck underbed package and the Firestone Ride Rite air bags to the vehicle's frame.
This has been confirmed with my tech contact over at B&W and they mentioned that they've had several customers... view full answer...
To install the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller, part # 90885, on your 2005 Toyota Tundra you will need to have a 7-Way connector on the rear of your vehicle. The 2005 Toyota Tundra that would have a factory brake controller port under the dash for the brake controller to plug into would have a factory installed 7-Way at the rear. Since you have only a 4-Way connector on the rear of your vehicle, there is usually no brake controller port available for the brake controller to plug into.... view full answer...
You can mount the # 17200 on either side of your trailer. You will need to loosen the handle and the other bolt below it, pull the inside arm out, flip it over, then reinsert it. You will then need to unscrew the handle on top and the nut. Completely remove them both and the mounting plate.
Then rotate the plate 180 degrees and put the handle where the nut was and the nut where the handle was. Then, when you flip the unit over to use on the other side of the trailer, everything will be... view full answer...
Assuming the spacing between the three mounting bolts is equal, you can rotate the jack. 120 degrees, but keep in mind that the toolbox could interfere with the crank.
If you used a grease gun with a flexible nozzle like # 30-800, you'd be able to access the zerk fitting without rotating the jack. view full answer...
The P2 part # 90885 that you have uses the exact same connector style as the P3 # 90195 so it would simply just plug right and work. view full answer...
The 2020 Toyota Tundra we have in the linked video didn't come with the OEM rails for us to demonstrate how to install that configuration of the Leer Hard Tonneau Cover # LE87VR BUT from what I'm seeing it looks like the larger part of the clamp slides into the tonneau rail and then the smaller part of the clamp slides into the OEM rails on your 2018 Toyota Tundra.
I've attached a photo to help show what I'm talking about. view full answer...
If you have a manual lockout, you will be able to use that and navigate with your front hitch without any wiring. If you have an electric lockout, you will need to supply 12 volts to that solenoid to release the brakes. I'd suggest getting a matching connector for your trailer like # PK11893 or # HM47900 and hardwiring the reverse wire directly to your battery and run a ground wire to the negative battery terminal from the connector. This will allow you to have that single function to... view full answer...
The problem that you are experiencing is due to several more connections that need to be made at the rear of your 2008 Toyota Tundra. You will need a Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole and 4 Pole, # 37185, if you do not already have one. Your factory 4-Way will plug into the back of this unit. You will then need to hardwire the remaining wires. The white wire needs to be grounded to the vehicle frame. The purple or yellow wire can be connected to a reverse light circuit behind one of the taillights... view full answer...
The connection port for a brake controller on your 2006 Toyota Tundra with factory 7-way trailer connector will be found under the driver-side dashboard. The connector may be bundled with or zip-tied to other wiring under the dash.
The port will mate to the white connector on the plug-and-play harness # 3040-P; the other end of the harness with the flat black connector will plug into the back of your brake controller. Please refer to the linked video showing installation of a Tekonsha... view full answer...
Since you are wanting to add a brake controller, and you already have a working 4-Way connector, you can use our Brake Controller 6 way installation kit, # ETBC6. We have detailed instructions for the brake controller installation kit and a video that will help with the installation, see links.

When installing the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit # D13504 you can identify the return line on your Tundra by first starting the truck and putting the transmission in drive for about 10 seconds. Then put the truck in park and turn the ignition off.
With the truck off you will then just want to feel both the transmission lines. The cooler of the two lines is your return line which is what you will use to install the cooler. view full answer...

Yes, on trailer brake controller installation the red input-signal wire will connect to the COLD side of the brake light switch; this is the pole that goes hot only when you press the pedal and at no other time. The other three wires on a brake controller are 12V operating power (black wire) that connects to the battery + terminal through a 40-amp breaker like # PK54540; the ground (white wire) that connects to the battery negative terminal; and the blue output wire that gets routed to... view full answer...

All of your current exhaust senors will remain intact and unaffected when you go to install the MagnaFlow Cat-Back System part # MF16865 on your 2007 Toyota Tundra.
The reason for this is that the sensors are all on the same pipes as your catalytic converters, and since this system bolts to the outlet of your cat pipes none of them would be affected.
There would not be any PCM changes that would be required once this system is installed either.
I attached a couple helpful links on cat-back... view full answer...
