  • Determining Which Replacement Axle Fits 2019 Forest River Rockwood Geo Pro 15TB Travel Trailer
  • I may have an option for you, but we do not have a breakdown of which axle your 2019 Forest River Rockwood Geo Pro 15TB Travel trailer uses so you will need to measure the axle, and determine its rating. Starting with measuring the axle you will need to measure from hub face to hub face, and from spring center to spring center. This will tell us the length of the axle needed, and how wide the frame of your trailer is. For the axle rating the easiest way to get this is looking for the...

  • How to Determine the Function of Wiring for Tail Lights on 2017 Forest River Sunseeker RV
  • We do not have wiring diagrams for individual coaches and the color of the wiring isn't always going to be a reliable way to determine their functions. In order to install a multi-function light like theDual LED Trailer Tail Light - Stop, Turn, Tail, Backup - Red and Clear Lens # CE86FR or the Command Triple LED Tail Light that is likely on your Sunseeker, you'll need a circuit tester like the # PTW2993 and a friend to help you out running through the different functions. You'll want...

  • Installation of Slide-Topper Awning for Camper Slide Out
  • For a slide-out awning like the Solera 6' Long Slider (Slide-Topper) in White w/ White Hardware # LCV000163274, you only need enough room to mount a rail if one isn't already present from the manufacturer. Most of the time the manufacturer already has the rail installed that you will use for a slide-topper like this. It only needs a slight drop for water run off purposes. I recommend using the Butyl tape # CAM25013 to ensure you have a good seal between your rail and camper.

  • Using Battery Isolation Solenoid to Preventing Trailer Battery from Draining Vehicle Battery
  • You'd want to install the battery isolation solenoid part # PK5231201 on the vehicle side of the wiring so that you'd have access to a keyed circuit to allow the 12 volts only to be active when key is on. To do this on the trailer side of the wiring would require you to be a bit more creative. You could use the running light circuit as the activation circuit so that only when the headlights or running lights are on the battery would charge.

  • Single Hole Size to Install Phoenix Faucets 8 Single Handle RV Kitchen Faucet w/Pull Down Sprayer
  • The single hole round base for faucet # PF231461 is 2-3/4 inches in diameter so the hole size will have to be less than that so 2-1/4 inches should be good and allow for movement of the hose. This faucet does come with a 3-hole mount as well so you might be able to use it to cover up your existing holes.

  • Can the MORyde Safe-T-Rail be Installed On a Class A Motorhome
  • I really don't have a good answer on why the MORryde Safe-T-Rail Telescoping RV Hand Rail # MR54BR can't be used on a class A motorhome. Realistically, as long as the surface that this is being installed onto is completely flat, free of obstructions, and is made of fiberglass you're fine. If the wall is curved or has corrugated steel walls I'd steer clear and avoid installing this. I do also recommend checking MORryde's website, and read the "Qualifier" PDF to be sure. It can be found...

  • Does the Solera Screen Room Get Left On the Awning After Use
  • The Solera Screen Room part # LC362215 does not get left installed on the awning after use. There are a set of brackets that do get permanently installed on the trailer but other than that the room will need to be taken down and put up each time you close the awning. However, this is a very simple process and should not take too much time at all. It also comes with a storage bag for the room while not in use. I have attached a few photos of the instructions for you as well.

  • Why Can't Trailer with Weight Distribution Hitch Be Reversed
  • With weight distribution systems like the Curt part # C17062 the reason backing up isn't recommended is because if you jackknife the trailer the spring bars will either pop out of the system with a lot of tension/force or a component of the system will bend/break. So what you can do is back up basically totally straight with the system installed or you can remove the bars before making tight turn maneuvers.

  • How To Replace the Concertone RV Stereo ZX75 with the Jensen RV Stereo JWM60A
  • The Jensen RV Stereo part # JWM60A is not a plug and play replacement for the Concertone RV Stereo ZX75 as they are made by two different manufactures. However, it will be easy to replace this as all you will have to do is splice the new wiring harness onto your trailer in place of the above. I have attached a diagram of this for you which should be a simple, pain free task. The only other thing you will need are butt connectors, part # DW05744-10 (2).

  • Can the Empire Faucets RV Kitchen Faucet w/ Pull-Down Spout Be Installed with the Handle in Front
  • I do not see any reason why you would not be able to install the Empire Faucets RV Kitchen Faucet w/ Pull-Down Spout # EM65CR with the handle in the front of the faucet. The way that the faucet installs, it looks like you will be able to rotate it before installing the threaded washer that holds the faucet in place. The only thing to keep in mind is that this faucet does rotate to allow you to spray from just about any angle and putting the handle in front could have a slight impact on...

  • Does Blue Wire of BCDC Charger Need to be Connected to Ignition for 2021 Chevy Silverado Install
  • According to my research your 2021 Chevy Silverado will have the variable voltage where the alternator adjusts output based off of demand. This means you need to connect the blue wire of the Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # 331-BCDC1225D to the ignition on your pickup. If you don't already have the wiring and fuses you need we have a few packages you can choose from for that as well. • What is the Torque Specification for Brake Mounting Flange Bolts
  • The bolts used to secure the Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # AKEBRK-7-SA to your axle will need to be torqued to 30-50 ft-lbs. If you do not have access to a torque wrench then you can tighten the bolts down enough to where the lock washer is crushed and that will be sufficient. We also have a torque wrench available as part # ALL944001. If you need new hardware you can use part # BRKH12.

  • How to Install Dexter Over-Under Conversion Kit on 2021 Grey Wolf 19SM
  • The process for installing the Dexter # K71-384-00, and specifically the new spring seats, is outlined in the instructions. You can tack weld the new spring seats into place once this process has been completed but it will level out the installation plate and spring seat and allow you to make sure the kit is installed properly. I've linked the installation instructions to this answer for you to have a look at, as well, but the process for this is outlined in steps 8 and 9 on the instructions...

  • How Long Does It Take To Install A Solera Rv Slide-Out Awning
  • Having installed numerous slide toppers it only takes me about 15-20 minutes to get everything out and organized and then mounted up on the trailer. Before I place the final two screws into the extrusion rail to lock the bead in place and prevent the fabric from sliding in the rail I usually run the slide out in and out a few times to get all the wrinkles out, which can about 10-15 minutes. Overall with no experience and an extra set of hands you could easily have this in place in about...

  • Troubleshooting Electric Brakes on Forest River Flagstaff E-Pro E20BHS
  • So there are a couple of possible issues here, though just to answer your question about larger brakes, you do need to stick with 10 inch brakes as 12 inch brakes will be too large. Based on my research, your Forest River Flagstaff E-Pro E20BHS. The first thing it may be is just that you haven't traveled far enough yet with your trailer. Electric brakes need about a 200 mile breaking in period to allow the brake shoes and brake magnets to bed into your drum. During those 200 miles you...

  • How Does The Furnace Attach To the Single Zone Control For Furrion Chill Air Conditioner
  • The 2 brown wires for the furnace on the Controller # FACC12SA-BL are loop wire for the furnace. So these do not matter which of each wire they attach to on your furnace. They simply must not attach to each other so that power travels all the way to the furnace. You will need to switch the number 4 dip switch to the on position so the controller knows it is attached to a furnace for heating.
