The Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, part # 9464-35 includes the installation kit and hitch.
Once installed the only thing visible in the bed of your truck is the gooseneck ball and the safety chain loops. The ball can be stored upside down in the hitch when it is not being used for more bed access.
If you need a 7-way plug in the bed of your truck for your gooseneck trailer I recommend part # 41157. view full answer...

I have a solution for you so that you can tow both a fifth wheel trailer and a gooseneck hitch trailer, but you will not be able to have a gooseneck and a fifth wheel rail kit installed in your truck at the same time.
You would need to remove the gooseneck hitch and then install the rail kit part # DM8552015-71 so that you can use the hitch part # DM6076P-UL-21K and then when you need to tow a gooseneck trailer you would need the # DM5996. view full answer...
I have a Curt gooseneck hitch that will work with the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Springs, # F2299, on your 2004 Dodge Ram 2500, but the Curt installation kit, # C60661, will not fit on your truck. This kit was designed for 2011 and newer Ram trucks.
For your truck, I recommend looking at the Curt EZr Double Lock Gooseneck Hitch, part # C60682, because the custom frame brackets mount on the outside of your frame, away from the frame bracket for the Firestone kit. Since this hitch uses custom... view full answer...
I'll go ahead and take each of your questions one by one regarding the Demco Hijacker Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rails and Custom Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Hitches # DM8552000-71.
The kit does not have a template, it will require you to take measurements; this is normal though as 5th wheel bracket kits and base rails do not come with templates.
The Demco # DM8552000-71 are indeed industry-standard, and I assume by gooseneck plate you are assuming to an adapter such as the Curt... view full answer...
Sounds like you have the Air Lift Kit part # AL57338 installed in your 2011 Chevy Silverado. If you check out the picture I attached you will see that when using this kit on a vehicle with fifth wheel/gooseneck rails you would not use the included U-bolts. Instead you would need to use the included 3/8 inch self tapping screws to secure the upper bracket of the air bag kit.
Once you install the kit like this you would no longer have any interference with the gooseneck install hardware... view full answer...
To activate the lever for the underbed gooseneck ball, you will need to cut the wheel well liner of your 2001 Dodge Ram when you install the underbed Curt Double Lock, Flip and Store Underbed Gooseneck Hitch with Installation Kit # C60734.
This is needed for you to be able to easily reach the hitch ball's lever. I have added a link to the instructions as well as a video review for you to check out if you'd like of the Curt Double Lock, Flip and Store Underbed Gooseneck Hitch with Installation... view full answer...
Not at all, I checked the installation instructions for the Reese Elite Series Under-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Head Kit # RP30138 and you will not need to remove the bed of your truck to install this hitch in your 2013 Ford Super Duty with the Underbed Rail Kit part # RP30126.
You might need to lower the spare while torquing the install hardware, but that's it. view full answer...
According to my technical contact at Reese it is not recommended to have both a gooseneck and fifth wheel hitch installed at the same time and to have both useable. The reason for this is exactly as you have indicated that the mounting hardware that secures both of the hitches to the truck uses the exact location on the truck frame. If you were to drill through the existing hardware in order to mount the fifth wheel hitch it could compromise the integrity of the gooseneck hitch. These hitches... view full answer...
I called Curt on the Curt Gooseneck Flat Plate, # C65500, and they said that the plate can be installed to the frame rails with a minimum of six 1/2 inch Grade 5 mounting bolts, but that would not allow the plate to meet the 30,000 lbs. GTW rating.
To be able to meet the 30,000 lbs. GTW rating you will have to install the Curt flat plate with the Curt Universal Gooseneck Ball Rail Kit, # C61502. This kit will install under the bed to the frame rails and give the extra reinforcement that... view full answer...
The safety chain u-bolts on the Draw Tite Gooseneck Hitch part # 8339-4437 that you referenced should be in front of the gooseneck ball. Or on the same side of the gooseneck ball as the cab of the truck. I checked both sets of installation instructions and couldn't find anywhere where it showed the u-bolts behind the gooseneck ball.
Also, this is a fold down style of gooseneck hitch. There are no offset balls that are compatible with this style of hitch. view full answer...
Body lifts basically make installing a gooseneck hitch impossible as the bed of the truck will be taller than where the ball should come through.
Plus with a truck that sits as tall as yours you will have a nearly impossible time towing a gooseneck trailer level without bed interference. The lift kits basically have to go so that you can install the # 9465-54 and tow a trailer.
With just the suspension lift the hitch will install, but even that the truck is going to sit too high. view full answer...
The Fold-Down Gooseneck Hitch Installation Template, # 6425, is not absolutely necessary. The instructions for the Reese Fold-Down Gooseneck Trailer Hitches, like part # 8339, provide the dimensions needed for drilling holes and cutting out the center area of the bed to allow the ball to fold down below the surface. The metal template does significantly ease the installation of the gooseneck hitch though.
There is no welding required for installation of the Reese Fold-Down gooseneck hitch,... view full answer...
You can absolutely remove the gooseneck hitch from your 2003 Ford F-350 and install a fifth wheel hitch without any issues.
For your truck you can use the Custom Install Kit # RP50082-58. A custom kit reduces drilling and install time when compared to a universal kit. view full answer...
