The reason you can't use a fuse tap to install the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness item # TK32VR, on your Sportage Hybrid, is because the moduLite power converter has to have a constant supply directly from your battery. Without this direct source of power you would experience flickering lights, blown fuses, and that converter would eventually fail. Wiring it with a fuse tap would also void any warranties.

The bike rack with the highest weight capacity that has a ramp that can be utilized is the Thule EasyFold XT # TH903202 but it can only handle up to 65 lb E-Bikes and I'm not sure if you'd be able to get your bike down that low.

My contact at Thule confirmed that the black rubber strips on the roof of your 2012 Kia Sportage do not provide (or cover) an attachment point for their Podium roof rack system. Yes, both the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # DT22MR and Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C94WR are fits for a 2023 Kia Sportage PHEV per the respective manufactures.
