When using a 12 volt trailer accessory wire to charge a trailer battery it would be nearly impossible to overcharge it. The max voltage the battery would ever potentially be would be the same voltage of the 12 volt accessory circuit. Also, these circuits generally don't have much amperage because of the smaller gauge wire used from the vehicle battery back to the trailer battery.
Long story short, you wouldn't have to worry about overcharging the camper battery. If anything you would be... view full answer...

I contacted one of the techs at Roadmaster to check on this for you. He let me know that the capacity of the Roadmaster Spare Tire Carrier, # RM-195225, and the adapter, # RM-195225-95 together does not reduce the capacity of the carrier. He assured me that the engineers at Roadmaster addressed all of your concerns in the design of this spare tire carrier and the automotive tire adapter. Accessories that Roadmaster certifies for use on the back of an RV have been thoroughly tested for safety... view full answer...
The Rocky Mounts Backstage 2 Bike Rack, part # RKY10002's shank has two parts that may interact with the door. The top of the swing away mechanism, and the top of the central rail of the bike rack.

It sounds like you are looking for the hitch mounted cargo carrier that has the a long distance from the hitch to the carrier so that you can clear the spare tire on your 2013 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.
The carrier I recommend with a lot of clearance is the etrailer Cargo Carrier # e98874, which is a full 19-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest edge of the carrier. What that means is if you measure from your Sprinter's hitch pin hole out to the edge of your spare... view full answer...
The "24 x 60" you are referring to are the inside dimensions of the Reese Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches # 63153.
It measures 60" long x 24" wide on the inside of the carrier and 61-1/2" long x 25-1/2" wide on the outside of the carrier. This has a robust 500 lb weight capacity and it's shank has a 2-1/2" rise which means you get optimal ground clearance. In order to secure it to your hitch you will need the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # 63232.
And if the cargo you are carrying... view full answer...

So from the ground to the bottom of the receiver would be about 15 inches. view full answer...
There is no specific law regarding minimum clearance between the ground and the bottom of a trailer hitch receiver tube or ball mount. This is because there are so many factors that will affect this dimension. The vehicle itself may simply have a low stance, as do some minivans. Passenger load, cargo load, tire size, tire condition and inflation pressure also affect the ground clearance at the hitch tube, as does the condition of the vehicle's suspension. Naturally you want to avoid any... view full answer...
From center to center, the distance between the two side bolt holes on # CT-2003-Z is 2-1/4". On # DL13728 the distance is 3". Both trailer couplers fit a 3" channel tongue, a 1-7/8" ball and are rated at 2,000 lbs.
If you are replacing your coupler, it may also be time to replace your coupler lock. I recommend the etrailer.com Coupler Lock, # e98893, which works with 1-7/8" couplers. view full answer...
The weight capacity of a trailer is more than just the axle and tire capacity. The frame of the trailer, suspension, brakes etc. are all parts of the equation that you need to consider. Your trailer should have an axle weight capacity as well as the weight capacity of the trailer. It is possible that going to a higher rated axle will give you additional weight capacity for the trailer, but the axle would have to have been the weakest link.
Easiest way to inspect your current axle would... view full answer...
