It sounds like you are looking for the hitch mounted cargo carrier that has the a long distance from the hitch to the carrier so that you can clear the spare tire on your 2013 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.

The carrier I recommend with a lot of clearance is the etrailer Cargo Carrier # e98874, which is a full 19-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest edge of the carrier. What that means is if you measure from your Sprinter's hitch pin hole out to the edge of your spare tire and it is less than 19-1/2 inches than this would be the perfect cargo carrier.
