  • How High Off the Ground Does EcoHitch 306-X7303 Sit When Installed on 2015 Mazda 3
  • The EcoHitch # 306-X7303 2 inch receiver is a fit for sedan models of the 2015 Mazda 3. Once installed, the underside of the receiver of the EcoHitch # 306-X7303 will sit roughly 10 inches above the pavement. The top side of the receiver tube will sit up against the underside of the bumper fascia. If you'll be using the hitch for light duty towing, you'll also need the # 118405 trailer wiring harness along with a # D-28 ball mount, a # PC3 hitch pin and a hitch ball like # 19260 for a...

  • How Much Ground Clearance Will I Have On The Rear Of My Mazda 3 Hatchback With Draw-Tite Receiver?
  • When we installed the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24914 onto a 2018 Mazda 3 hatchback similar to your Mazda 3 we found that the receiver sat just shy of the rear of the bumper cover. So it will not hang past your bumper where you might hit your leg on it or extend the length of your Mazda. The bottom of the receiver tube and chain mounts are roughly 9-1/2" from the ground. Be aware these measurements can vary due to trim levels, tire size and amount of suspension sag.

  • What Is The Highest Capacity Trailer Hitch For The 2024 Mazda 3?
  • The highest capacity hitch that we offer for the 2024 Mazda 3 is going to be the Curt Class 1 Hitch # C44DR. This hitch has a 1-1/4" receiver and is rated for 2,000 lbs towing or 200 lbs of tongue weight. The Mazda 3 Sedan really is not designed for towing anything too heavy, so the class 1 hitch is going to be the highest rated hitch available.

  • Bike Rack Options for a 2010 Mazda 3
  • The Swagman XTC 4 bike rack you currently have is not compatible with the Class I receiver like the Curt # C11393, which is the only receiver available for the 2010 Mazda 3. Due to the size of the vehicle, as well as the rigidity of the area where the hitch attaches to the vehicle, the hitch will only be able to safely accommodate 200 lbs of tongue weight, or downward force. You will also need a stabilizer strap like # 18050 which is required by Curt. In order to make the 2-inch shank...

  • Highest Capacity Trailer Hitch for a 2020 Mazda 3 Hatchback
  • There is actually only 1 trailer hitch that fits your 2020 Mazda 3 Hatchback so it definitely cuts down on what we need to filter through. The Curt # C98BR is a Class I trailer hitch rated for 2,000 lbs towing and has a 1-1/4" receiver rated for 200 lbs tongue weight. It is important to note though that your 2020 Mazda 3 isn't rated for towing so you really should only be using the trailer hitch for something like a bike rack. If you were planning on using this for a bike rack then I highly...

  • Why Are Curts Measurements Different Than What Is Listed?
  • We measure rise and drop a little differently than Curt, hence the discrepancies with the label on their # C45028. Curt tends to round and estimate their measurements a little bit, but we go from the top of the ball platform to the top of the shank to get the 5-3/8" rise. This goes for the drop measurement as well, just with the ball mount flipped over. I included a review video we have of this showing where we take the measurements from as well.

  • Can Inflatable Boat and Outboard Motor be Safely Carried on Aluminum Cargo Carrier on 2010 Mazda 3
  • Based on what you have described the aluminum carrier should have no problem handling the 200 pound estimated weight of the carrier and boat/motor combined. You will just need to make sure not to exceed the capacity of the trailer hitch on your 2010 Mazda 3. Since you are right at the hitch capacity it would be a good idea to stow the motor in the vehicle it at all possible. You can reduce the stress on the hitch receiver by also using a stabilization strap such as # 18050, or another...

  • Towing Set Up for a 2021 Mazda 3 Hatchback
  • Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C98BR is a confirmed fit for the hatchback model of the 2021 Mazda 3. This hitch is custom fit and bolts directly to your Mazda with included hardware. It has a maximum gross trailer weight of 2,000 lbs and a maximum tongue weight 200 lbs. • Can 2016 Mazda 3 Be Used to Carry a 160 lb Minibike
  • The EcoHitch Class II hitches for your 2016 Mazda 3, part # 306-X7305 for a hatchback or part # 306-X7303 for a sedan, will technically fit with the Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier for 2" Hitches # UF48-979033 and the weight of the carrier plus your bike will be under the 300 lb tongue weight rating, but this carrier is also rated for a Class III hitch so it isn't advisable. Manufacturers of heavier carriers like this limit the use to Class III hitches because they are simply stronger and...

  • Ground Clearance of the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2017 Mazda 3
  • When we installed the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11377 on a similar 2017 Mazda 3 we found that the distance from the ground to the top of the inside edge on the receiver tube is 11-1/2". Since the trailer hitch has a 1-1/4" receiver tube I can estimate that the lowest point on the trailer hitch is going to be around 10" off the ground. Please keep in mind that this distance can very well vary vehicle to vehicle as the tire size and amount of cargo will all play a factor but this...

  • Snow Tire Chains For 2015 Mazda 3
  • Coil spring helpers don't add to the height of your vehicle, because they just go inside the spring, supporting it when you have a load in the vehicle. So springs won't raise your 2015 Mazda 3, nor are they any that fit your vehicle. The best I can offer for better ride in snow are snow tire chains: - pewag Servo RS Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains # PWRS74 I checked the owner's manual for a 2015 Mazda 3 and it said snow tire chains are permissible, on the front tires only. The pewag...
