Hitch pins and hitch pin locks like the etrailer lock # e98882 do not typically have weight capacities as they do not normally bear the weight of the trailer since the tongue weight pins the mount into the hitch tube. I sent your questions to Aries and they responded by telling me that the 3” step bars of the # AA204032-2 from the picture sits flush with bottom of door being this is a rocker panel mount, and the ideal weight limit is 250 lbs. the width of the bars is 3” this won’t protrude past the mirrors. Pre-molded mud flaps could be an issue with installation due to the slight bend of step bar. Since they are skid wheels and not designed to hold weight for extended periods the manufacturer does not test for or provide a weight capacity rating. view full answer...
Right hand thread means that they tighten turning clockwise like what you have. Older vehicles and trailers used to put left hand threaded lugs on one side of the trailer and right hand on the other.
The thinking back then was that they all had to tighten a certain direction relative to the rotation of the wheels otherwise they would loosen on their own from inertia while traveling down the road. We do have some information that should help, though we have not had a chance to test fit the Draw-Tite # 76217 on a 2018 GMC Terrain as of yet (June 2018). The hitch, which is the only one listed as a fit for an '18 Terrain with a diesel, does measure 11-3/8" from the bottom of your Terrain's frame to the lowest point of the hitch, which is the safety chain holes.
What you can do is get under your Terrain and measure from the frame to the ground, then subtract 11-3/8" you will know how... view full answer...
I have a solution for you but they do not offer just the pivot bar for resale. It looks like your 2005 Newmar Mountain Aire came with Kwikee steps. You will need the Replacement Step Frame for Kwikee RV Electric Steps - 25 Series item # LC3658374 to replace your damaged ones. These steps are 24" wide.
