We do have an adapter that will allow you to attach a 2" cargo carrier to the 1-1/4" hitch on your 2016 Nissan Altima. I recommend the adapter # e43YR. This is 6-1/2" long and will go in to your 1-1/4" hitch and give you a 2" receiver on the other end.

I have a similar roof rack I can recommend for your 2009 Nissan Altima, but the Sportrack part # SR1005 is not listed as a fit.

Actually the Curt Cargo Carrier part # C18145 that you referenced can fit 1-1/4 inch hitches like what you have so it would work well for you. It can fit both Class I and Class II hitches so it should work well.

Hey there, unfortunately only a 1-1/4" receiver is available for your 2018 Altima - Curt # C11352; this has a weight capacity of 200lbs. There are a few cargo carriers that are compatible with this class 1 receiver, such as # C18110 which is a 19x47 flat carrier and may be able to hold your mobile scooter.

Any standard ski rack would work well on the Sportrack roof rack # SR1010 that you referenced but this is not the roof rack I would recommend for your 2017 Nissan Altima as we have found it does not fit very well since it was designed to basically fit too many vehicles.
