To mount your Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector # CU86FR I recommend picking up the No-Drill Mount Bracket # 18136 and 7-Pole Bracket # PK12711U you were already looking at. In the installation video for the # CU86FR Ryan strapped the long bracket to the hitch using the provided hose clamp and measured down to clear the fascia and and marked the bracket. The Hopkins 7-way bracket part # HM48625 does not come with hardware and there isn't a set hardware size we can recommend for it but we do have the similar Pollak 7-way part # PK12711U which comes with small machine screws and nuts. I would recommend getting something similar but also it really depends on what 7-way you have. The 7-way may have hardware for this already included as well.

The Curt High-Low Adapter # C59KR is designed for flat towing only. Curt doesn't even test it for accessories to give it a tongue weight rating. The Roadmaster # RM-048-4 is the most comparable with a distance of 9-5/8" from hitch pin to hitch pin hole and a 4" drop/rise. This has a 400 lb tongue weight capacity. However, use of an adapter is going to cut the capacity of your hitch by 50% so you won't be able to use the full capacity of the cargo carrier.

When it comes to picking the correct WDS you're going to need to go off of the trailer your towing, rather than the tow vehicle.
To figure out what's going to work work best, you'll need to essentially load the trailer up with everything you'd bring/need for a trip and get the trailer weighed. What we are looking for is your total tongue weight, so after it's weighed you'll need to take a note of what that is.

Hello Mark, interesting question. There is unfortunately no magic angle or magic solution that I can offer for this problem. Anything you can do to decrease the approach angle will obviously help your cause, but I am not able to give you any specific numbers as far as axle distance or angles. You would have to factor in the size of the camper and the distance from the axles as well as the angle of the driveway, and even if we had these numbers there is no formula for this.

Hello Jeff, sorry for any confusion. The # PK12711U bracket will work just fine with the Draw-Tite hitch # 76290 for the 2021 Honda Passport. This bracket is basically universal so it will work with the pre-welded bracket on the Draw-Tite hitches, as well as a wide variety of other applications. Since the bracket is not a custom fit part, it really should not be included in our fit guide like you noticed. I will work on getting this corrected to avoid and future confusion. In order to secure the 4-Way near the hitch receiver I recommend picking up the Mounting Brackets # 18136 and # 18144.
