The closest option we have available to what you are wanting to do is with the Buyers Products 18" Hitch Receiver Extension # 3371804017. This will insert into a 2 inch hitch receiver and provide you with an 18 inch extension with a weld-on step at the end. There is also a 2 inch receiver at the end of the step that can be used with any hitch-mounted accessory such as a ball mount. This will allow you to keep the step in place while towing.
Please just keep in mind that using this hitch... view full answer...
The Bestop TrekStep, # BE42CV, attaches to the bumper of your 2012 Toyota Tundra so it should not interfere with a trailer hitch like Curt # 13198 or a Draw-Tite hitch. The TrekStep will attach to the outside of the bumper bracket whereas the hitches install on the inside so there should not be any issue. view full answer...
For your 2022 Mercedes Sprinter 2500 that has a 170 inch wheelbase and the standard bumper the etrailer hitch part # e76AR is the highest capacity option available. It can tow a trailer up to 10,000 lb.
We do not carry replacement leaf springs or step bumpers though. view full answer...
Hello Stan. I suggest that you take a look at the Thule Epos Bike # TH99XE. This rack is made specifically with step-thru e-bikes in mind. It can hold two bikes weighing up to 70 lbs apiece. It uses adjustable, telescoping masts which clamp to the frame. This allows it to be compatible with alternative frame bikes like a step thru. Also, since it clamps to the frame and has straps that go thru the bottom of the wheels, the fenders on your bikes will not be an issue. It has an integrated... view full answer...
Sorry, David. I went into our warehouse and verified the inventory we have does have Gen-Y cut into the end rather than REBEL on the Step # GY79VR. I have sent in an update to have this corrected on the website. It turns out Gen-Y changed the step when they discontinued the REBEL line of products they carry. view full answer...
Hey Brian, thanks for reaching out!
I took a look at our boat trailer step inventory and while it doesn't look like any of them will be able to accommodate your larger 3" x 6" frame, you are still able to take the HitchMate Boat Trailer Step # HE4036 you were looking at and secure it directly to the frame either by drilling into your frame or having an experienced welder do the installation for you.
Drilling and welding aren't nearly as quick and easy as a bolt on installation, but these... view full answer...
The Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # Y88DJ you were looking at would actually be perfect. It looks like the Lectric 3.0 tops out at 64 lbs so the rack can handle the weight. It also uses padded clamps to hold it by the frame or seat post. This eliminates the problem of securing a bike that has fenders and a step-thru design. It will also make it easy to load with the ramps. Assuming you have a 2" hitch on both vehicles it will work for both. view full answer...
For your 2017 Kia Soul we will begin with the receiver. I recommend the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7326. This receiver give you a 2" receiver which will give you a better selection on bike racks to choose from. I have linked an installation video below for you to reference as we had a 2017 Soul in our shop to demonstrate this installation. We also have a link on our product page just below our pictures that will help you locate a shop where you can have the hitch installed.... view full answer...
The shank on the Saris Door County Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # SAR42RR sits about 5" from the ground. When plugged into the vehicle 7-way for power the shank has a total of 10-1/2" of travel to give you a shank height of about 15". If your trailer hitch receiver tube falls under 15" then you'd be able to simply plug in, lift the shank, and roll the bike rack right into the hitch.
If your hitch sits higher than 15" then you could still raise the shank and lift the rack onto a piece... view full answer...
Possibly, but I would need to know more info on your truck to be sure. What is the Year Make Model, bed length, cab style, what trailer hitch do you have, do you have step bars? Do they go under the truck bed or stop at cab? view full answer...
Hey Kenneth, thanks for the question and it's a good one as you're right, there are some bike racks deemed not suitable for use on a front hitch. So I did some digging, and since there's only a couple options for your 71 lb step-thru ebikes, the best one that you can use for the front hitch is the Thule Epos Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # TH99XE.
I spoke to Thule about this and there isn't a specific restriction, they just said they hadn't tested it, so this is an option if you're comfortable... view full answer...
Hello Kelby,
There was a lot of information missing from what your truck has so I'm just going to go with the most common and assume you have a 2008 Chevy Silverado 2500 or 3500 Regular Cab with an 8 foot bed, factory hitch, and no steps underneath the truck bed. If all of that is true, the following tie-downs fit:
- Rear: TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs # TLC3209
- Front: TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs # TLC2204
If your truck is different please leave a comment below with the model, bed size,... view full answer...
Hey Linda, the e-bike rack I recommend for your e-bike that has a step thru frame and fenders is the Yakima OnRamp part # Y96FR that you referenced as this hitch is RV rated like you need for your Class C motorhome, has frame clamps that were designed for step thru frames, and it has a ramp setup that makes loading and unloading much easier. view full answer...
The Bestop TrekStep part # BE34UV is a fit for your 2020 Ford F-350 and would be a great option to help you get into the truck bed if you prefer reaching from the side of the truck bed. It fits the dually models as well. view full answer...
While we do not have an adapter pre made you can easily create your own by wiring in 3 Load Resistors # P230004A on a 4-Way Extension # HM48145. The resistors will create a larger power draw and confuse your 2023 Ford Escape into thinking they are higher draw lights. Then you will be able to use the Bully Hitch Step without the check bulb fault. view full answer...
Hey there Ron; the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # HLY64FR can indeed hold step-thru electric bikes without using any type of adapter bar. It has clamps that slide instead of hooks which is why it can do that. However, the # HLY64FR cannot be used on a travel trailer.
If you don't want to use an adapter bar the only option for a travel-trailer approved ebike rack that will work is the Lets Go Aero V-Lectric FAT PRO Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # LGA77FR.

The best option we have available is with the RockyMounts HighNoon FC Solo Bike Rack for 1 Bike # RKY87RR. This is an excellent 1-bike rack that can support up to 5" tires, but it does have a weight capacity of 60 pounds.
You could see if removing the battery drops the RadRover's weight enough to put it under this limit, otherwise your other options would be a 2-bike rack or use a small trailer or a different vehicle that's able to utilize a larger 2" trailer hitch.
For a 2-bike rack... view full answer...
Hey Jerred, so the Curt hitch part # C13395 does require lowering the exhaust (not removing it) to be installed which is a very common step with hitch installs to get them above the tail pipes. Basically the exhaust hangers get pried off which allows the exhaust to lower a little bit. You can see more of this in the attached install video. view full answer...
Dropping the exhaust to install a hitch like what the Curt # C34UR that fits your 2024 Toyota Corolla calls for is actually really common and not as scary or involved as you may think. It's really just a matter of prying the exhaust hangers off and then using a strap to allow it to lower in a controlled way. There isn't a different hitch that fits your Corolla that doesn't have this step. view full answer...
Yeah, I hear you. The cotter pins when they're new are extremely difficult to get in and out of the pins. You're going to have to keep working on them and get them broken in.
I have linked a couple videos below of the Patriot Hitches Adjustable Drop Hitch Receiver Adapter item # PH54FR. They conveniently skipped the cotter pin step but maybe they'll help you understand how to work the bolts. view full answer...
