Does Hitch Install for 2024 Toyota Corolla Require Removing Exhaust
Question:
Im interested in buying an 11/4 trailer hitch reciever for a 2024 Toyota Corolla. Your photos show an installation with the muffler removed. Is it necessary to remove the muffler?

Dropping the exhaust to install a hitch like what the Curt # C34UR that fits your 2024 Toyota Corolla calls for is actually really common and not as scary or involved as you may think. It's really just a matter of prying the exhaust hangers off and then using a strap to allow it to lower in a controlled way. There isn't a different hitch that fits your Corolla that doesn't have this step.
