Does exhaust need removed for a Jeep Cherokee 2020 latitude 2.4 with single exhaust

Hey Jerred, so the Curt hitch part # C13395 does require lowering the exhaust (not removing it) to be installed which is a very common step with hitch installs to get them above the tail pipes. Basically the exhaust hangers get pried off which allows the exhaust to lower a little bit. You can see more of this in the attached install video.
