When it comes to shipping the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13559 has a weight of 38 lbs (including the packaging) and comes in a box that is 58" x 8" x 26". I did go out to the warehouse and found the hitch itself measures 44-3/4" long x 12-1/4" deep x 9" high.
This is a fit for US versions of 2003 - 2014 Volvo XC90 so I am unsure if it will fit your vehicle if you purchased it across seas.

- I went out to the warehouse and measured a Replacement U-Bolt, # TH02943. The center to center distance between each end of the u-bolt is 4 inches. It is 2 inches deep in the center. The cross bars on your Volvo XC90 would have to be smaller than those dimensions in order for these u-bolts to fit.
The Car-Go cargo box is not made anymore so I cannot test this u-bolt with the knobs it used. But I can tell you that this u-bolt uses an M6 (6mm) knob like # 753-0783.
