This sounds like a ground problem. What you can do is start by check the trailer side and vehicle side trailer connectors. You will want to look for any dirt or corrosion in or behind the trailer connectors. Corrosion can cause any number of lighting issues.
Next move on to checking the ground connections for each connector to see that they are attached to clean and corrosion free bare metal surfaces.

If everything was working but then stopped working as soon as you used the hazards then I think it is fuse or relay related. There could be a short issue of some kind that is not all that bad when just one blinker is working. But with both blinkers going on at the same time, the power draw increases and that could have caused a fuse or relay to fail.

On some Nissan Titans and Armadas there is an additional relay that may be required under the drivers side dash for the tail lights. Since your trailer's brakes worked on another truck that would indicate that the problem is on the truck side of the equation. First and easiest thing to check is to check for corrosion on your truck's 7-way. Some fine grit sandpaper can easily remove any corrosion that would prevent the connetion from being made.

Sometimes the little CR2032 batteries will have a sticker on them that you have to peel off so the battery actually touches the metal contacts inside the remote # AL72704. I had the exact same problem with a vehicle key fob until I noticed that sticker and peeled it off.

This sounds like the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885 output wire is not making the connection to the trailer on your 2017 Nissan Titan. I would check that the ends of the Pigtail # 3050-P on your brake controller have not pushed out of their connections. You can do this visually but the best way is to follow the wire with a Test Light # PTW2992.

That is certainly odd. There should be no time delay when using a proportional controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. The first thing I recommend doing is taking a circuit tester like the # PTW2993 and testing the red wire behind the brake controller. It should be getting power immediately when the brakes are applied.

The first thing I would test is the trailer connector on your 2005 Nissan Titan using a circuit tester like our part # 3808 to see if the problem lies in the trailer or in your vehicle. Check out the video I attached to see exactly how to do this. Basically, you will be testing for brake/stop light functionality of the circuit and this will tell you if the problem is on the truck or the trailer.

On your 2005 Nissan Titan if you have the factory 7-way, you should have been able to simply install the Factory Style 7-Way and 4-Way Flat Vehicle End Trailer Connector # N40975 and then add the brake controller wiring harness # 3050-P and brake controller like # 90195. If you are using the Nissan factory harness, the harness will not wire to the brake controller color for color. Check the way you have the controller wired to the factory harness; it should be wired like this:

If the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195 is showing the no trailer connected text/icon with the trailer connected then there is an issue with the brake output wire. The color of the screen doesn't matter. In order to fix this you will need to trace the usually blue brake output wire from the brake controller all the way back to the braking assemblies. There are a couple of things you can look at here, but if you've blown any of the towing fuses on your 2011 Nissan Titan, it's likely that the overload was caused by some wiring issues that can develop over time. If this is a new installation that isn't operating, your Titan may not be equipped with the towing relays that are required-but they can be purchased with # C57000 .
