The garnish of the roof vent can be trimmed down with a rotary tool which I recommend doing so it fits the thickness of your roof.

The Tekonsha Kit # 119250KIT is a universal wiring harness which is why it is confirmed to fit your 2018 Mercedes-Benz Metris. There haven't been any custom wiring harnesses for a Mercedes-Benz Metris yet but the closest thing you can get to that is the ZCI Kit # 119250KIT which uses special splices that don't actually cut your wiring.
